It’s that time of year again people. The time where we, the voracious and obsessive readers of LGBT romance, look back and reflect on what an amazing year of books it’s been. If you’re anything like us then you’re already compiling your 2017 “To Read” list, but first, let’s share some of our favourite books from the year just gone.

Smoke & Mirrors (THIRDS #7) by Charlie Cochet
Now…if you know me…you know that I love this series. My very favorite character is Ash and I’d have his babies if I could. I have to say that this book brought out some feels for me. All the things that Dex goes thru in this story…wow…this one was heartbreaking and yet…it had made want More!!
Catch a Tiger by the Tail (THIRDS #6) by Charlie Cochet
Well…like this is a surprise. Calvin and Ethan’s story…’Nuff Said. The feels, oh the feels….this book, yeah…I was waiting to see how Charlie would do my boys…and she sure as hell came thru.
Custos Securities series by Luna David
Oh Wow…I actually had to put these books together because I remember reading the first book and was waiting not so patiently for the next book to come out and when it did…I read the first one again in order to be fully invested in the story again…I was caught up in the love and mystery that was these stories.
Made Marian series by Lucy Lennox
Again…I couldn’t help but putting these novels together. These stories about this family…I just have to say how much I really enjoy following these brothers on their roads to their HEA’s. I just enjoy that these are low angst stories that just…swim in romance.
Tied Up in Knots (Marshals #3) by Mary Calmes
Well…It’s Ian and Miro!! I read the first book and was hooked on these guys. Then I read the second book and I thought Mary wanted my heart to just fall out of my chest. Then…I read this book and was sure that Mary is an Evil Woman whose books I can’t get enough of and who just wants My Soul. Sucker that I am…I’m giving it up to her…cause she still got work to do. EVIL!!!! Mary puts My Boys thru the wringer AGAIN and still…STILL…I keep coming back for more. Sigh.
Chosen Pride (L’Ange #3) by Mary Calmes
Yeah…sucker…BUT…this one was one I was waiting on FOREVER…I’ve loved Quade and Roman’s book. I have the HUGEST Crush on Arman and Linus. But, I really started to like Jon and when I heard that FINALLY, his book was coming out…I was happy…then I read this book and just fell for Jon and Kelvin. Mary didn’t make this as easy as I thought she would…but…it was Worth It!!
The Beacon Hill Sorcerer series by SJ Himes
Now…I read the first book in the series and I was HOOKED on Angel. I loved that this snarky, head-strong and very cranky Necromancer…I just had a blast!! I loved watching Angel and Simeon fall in love and all of the mystery/suspense that seems to happening to Angel all at once. I have to say that I am waiting not very patiently for the next book in the series. Hint, Hint!!
Fated Heart series by Aimee Nicole Walker
Now I will admit to coming into this series only this past summer and I was HOOKED. I read ALL of the available books at that time in like a week. When I found out that book 7 was coming out…I reread the ENTIRE SERIES just to be caught up for book 7. I loved the series and how each book builds and each character gets to find their own HEA.

I LOVE the THIRDS! So glad to see two books on your list. I’ve also read the first in the L’ange series but havent yet read the rest but they’re on my TBR – so it’s great to see them on your list too. 😀

Hi Roberta I’ve got nearly all the books on your list and I especially enjoyed Charlie Cochets “Thirds Series”
I’ve read all but three of these and they are all some of my favorites.
Great list. Most of them are on my wishlist or on my Kindle waiting to be read yet. I can’t wait to read them. So many great books, so little time. 🙂

I love the books from Mary Calmes and Charlie Cochet. The last two books in the THIRDS series were awesome. Hope the rest of the series will be as good.
The other books from the list also look interesting. I think I’ll give the Custos Securities series and the Fated Hearts series a try. Both sound like I’ll enjoy them.
