JEN B

Backlash (Don't..., #4)

Backlash by Jack L. Pyke

My absolute favorite series, a total edge of your seat mindfuck that delivers every time with each installment and keeps me hanging on every word.

Wes' Denial (Tease and Denial, #2)

Wes’ Denial by Joseph Lance Tonlet

Amazing follow up to a beautifully non-traditional d/s relationship.

Sarge (F.I.S.T.S. #1)

Sarge (Audio) by Bey Deckard

The only audio book on my list – flawlessly delivered enhancing an already amazing short story.

What It Looks Like

What It Looks Like by Matthew Metzger

My favorite trans book to date and a fantastic “don’t judge a book by it’s cover” story.

Defenseless

Defenseless by AJ Rose

The best tragic and emotional read of the year.

The Mind Spy (Juxtapose City #10)

The Mind Spy by Tricia Owens

Another installment of one of my top paranormal series that continues to keep me engrossed.

Bootleg Diva: Confessions of a Quarterback Princess by Levi Brody (Southern Scrimmage, #4)

Bootleg Diva by Mercy Celeste

Absolute favorite book of the series.  Heartbreaking and raw with extremely complex characters.

Significant Other (Sin City 10)

Significant Other by Tricia Owens

Another favorite non-traditional d/s installment of a series that delivers time and again.

Caged Jaye (Arctic Absolution, #.50)

Caged Jaye by Lynn Kelling

Amazing prequel that had me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end.

What Remains

What Remains by Garrett Leigh

Riveting second chance story.

Out of Nowhere (Middle of Somewhere, #2)

Out of Nowhere by Roan Parrish

Wonderful storytelling with an unexpected total change in character perspective.

Vanished: The Complete Trilogy

Vanished Trilogy by Carter Quinn

Totally suspenseful, fantastically woven story.

Noah

Noah by Cara Dee

Complex characters who come together through tragedy to find love.

Smoke & Mirrors (THIRDS, #7)

Smoke and Mirrors by Charlie Cochet

Another winner from one of my favorite paranormal series of all-time.

  1. Bootleg Diva by Mercy Celeste and Out of Nowhere by Roan Parrish are on my top read list as well. The other books I haven’t read, but look very interesting.
    Thanks for posting.

  2. Excellent list, Jen! I personally like A.J. Rose’s Defenseless & Garrett Leigh’s What Remains! Aside from their stunning covers, the stories are riveting (like you said). They are really great reads.

I’ve heard a lot of good things about Noah by Cara Dee so I think I should check it out. Have you read the sequel?

Out of Nowhere by Roan Parrish returned rather not-so-great feedbacks. But I know the first two are good.

I’ve considered reading What It Looks Like by Matthew J. Metzger before but, I’d kinda pulled away when I learned that it’s about a trans. I don’t have anything against them but I don’t think I fancy reading about them. Just my two cents. =)

  3. So many great sounding books! Thank you so much for the list. I’m adding a bunch of these to my wishlist. Roan Parrish’s books in that series have been fantastic.

  4. From the list above I’ve read “Smoke and Mirrors” so far. Loved it.
“Out of Nowhere” and “What remains” are on my already-bought-just-need-to-read list. “Vanished” and “What it looks like” sound interesting. If I find the time I’ll give those books a try.

  5. Great list, Jen. You have some favourites of mine there: Roam Parrish, Garrett Leigh and Charlie Cochet are must buy for me!

  6. So many awesome books on your list. I have absolutely loved everything i have read by Mercy Celeste, Cara Dee, Tricia Owens, Roan Parrish and Carter Quinn. And the THIRDS series is utterly outstanding. I CANNOT WAIT for the next books – especially after seeing a preview of the next book’s cover yesterday. So many great reads – and again – some I’ve not heard of. I’ll definately be giving Caged Jaye and Defenceless a check out after posting this. 😀

  7. Thank you for sharing your list. I look forward in checking out some of your choices. It is always nice to get good recommendations.

  8. I’ve only read a couple of these and have a couple more on my kindle. Several are on my wishlist but there are a few I’ve not seen before.
    Great list!

  9. Thanks for the list. I just got Wes’ Denial and am looking forward to a good read. Looks like there are some more I need to get, too.

  10. What an awesome list! I’ve read many of these and some are waiting in my Kindle right now. We definitely have similar taste in books. 😉

  11. Love the Thirds series by Charlie Cochet and also the Don’t series by Jack l Pyke. Some of the others are on my list of books to read.

Please take a minute to leave a comment it is so appreciated !
