Don’t discount the mystic powers in the world…
Casey has spent most of his adult life building a successful business. His mother has been on him to settle down with a good man. Casey would, but he hasn’t had time to look for one. On his fortieth birthday, he goes out with friends and gets drunk—and has one too many.
When he wakes up in the morning, there’s a sexy, strange man in his home and a new, kind of painful tattoo on Casey’s chest. He doesn’t remember what happened the night before, but it doesn’t take him long to realize that the stranger, Ed, is someone he wants to get to know much better.
Now, if the fates and stars and all that mystical stuff will align, Casey and Ed might have their Happily Ever After, with the help of a mysterious tattoo artist and a vanishing tattoo shop.
REVIEW:
When Casey Allen woke up the morning after his 40th birthday the only thing he felt was pain. His chest felt like it was on fire, his head hurt from too much alcohol, in fact his entire body hurt! In fact, he felt like if he got drunk like he did the night before, he’d probably never live to see 41. As Casey is trying to remember what happened at his birthday party he slowly realises the reason his chest hurts so much is because he now has a tattoo. OMG, his mother was going to kill him!
It’s whilst Casey is bemoaning the fact that most his chest hair is now gone that he gets the fright of life when someone speaks to him. Edward “Ed” Kirby was Casey’s driver the night before and the first thing Casey does is blame him for not stopping him from getting a tattoo as he was so drunk! When Ed explains to Casey that he got the tattoo on a whim because he saw the eye-catching tattoo shop sign and wouldn’t take no for an answer. Casey was even more mortified when Ed explains that he did a drunken strip and tried to seduce him. S Ed explains what he knows about what happened the previous night Casey gets extremely concerned because he can’t remember a thing.
As Ed and Casey eat breakfast they start talking and getting to know each other a bit, this is when Casey learns that Ed is looking for a long-term relationship, not a one night stand. Casey admits this is what he’s looking for as well as the fact that he’s incredibly attracted to Ed. After Ed leaves Casey decides to visit Mystic Tattoos but he can’t find it anywhere, the shop has simply vanished.
Over the next weeks, Casey and Ed date and fall in love that much more but they can’t find Mystic Tattoos. I have no hesitation in recommending One Too Many to all who enjoy a good romance story. I can’t wait for the next instalment in the Mystic Tattoos series.
