Morgen “Twiggy” Pines has had drugs on his mind for all his adult life, but that all changes when he meets Creed.
Morgen’s addiction has led him into some sticky situations in the past. When he’s kidnapped and two hairs away from being a sex slave for the rest of his life, even an addict like him knows it’s time for a change. Lucky for him, he finds help in the most unlikely places.
Creed’s only job is to keep Morgen safe. He’ll do whatever it takes, even if that means keeping his whereabouts secret from his team. What he shouldn’t do is fall for Morgen, but that’s exactly what happens.
REVIEW:
Twiggy has been a drug addict since his early teens. To get his drugs and survive Twiggy has always dealt in information, seeing as Twiggy has an eidetic memory this as always been extremely easy for him. Twiggy has fallen about as low as he’s ever been, even his grandfather won’t talk to him. Twiggy has one more job for Sydney Marshall, the assassin who fell in love with Max Shaw in the last book. When Victoria Mize’s henchman decides to have Twiggy kidnapped to be sold as a sex slave Twiggy is rescued by Max, Sydney and Creed.
When Creed first meets Twiggy he’s in the beginning stages of withdrawal so he decides to take him to his friends ranch to try to get Twiggy clean. Although there is a definite attraction between Twiggy and Creed neither does anything about it and Creed leaves to check on in his mother who has a severe brain injury that has left her unable to look afer herself. Creed’s younger brother Dario has taken on the responsibility of being her fulltime carer een though they both have the scars to remind them of how quickly she loses her temper these days.
Over the next three months whilst Creed is at spending his time between his mother, Dario and the Demon Elite, Twiggy is busy turning himself into Morgen! It has taken Twiggy three months to realise he’s not the same person now, he’s stayed clean for these months but he’s honest enough with himself to admit that he doesn’t want to return to being Twiggy. When Creed finally starts to spend time with Morgen he’snot surprised that the attraction between them starts to burn out of control. Now they have to decide if they want to take a chance on developing their attraction into something deeper, (not realizing that they’ve already fallen head over hells for each other)
I have no hesitation in recommending Credo to all m/m romance but you’re going to have to get your copies of the previous 7 books so that you’ll be able to get up to speed with Demon Elite!
