Officially off the road until everyone has had a chance to fully heal from their physical and emotional wounds, Wheland and his band brothers limp back home to make sense of what happened and where they will go from here.
This unplanned but much needed downtime offers Wheland a moment of clarity; suddenly, solidifying a future with Rooster never felt so necessary—or urgent. A proposal leads to an intimate ceremony that you simply don’t want to miss, but the greatest surprise of all is the wedding gift they receive once they get home.
The Rock Gods family continues to grow with each new milestone they reach together, and Wheland and Rooster’s future is about to become a whole lot brighter—and busier.
REVIEW:
Oh. My. Goodness. Gracious!!! This book couldn’t have come at a more perfect moment! What a wonderful surprise gift from Author Ann Lister!!! Ann, you made me smile so hard and made my day!
Wheland, Rooster and all the members of the Rock Bands Black Ice and Ivory Tower are back in LA recovering from the horrors of the tragic Berlin Fire. They came home to nursing the mental and physical reminders of how short life could be cut in a moment. In a flash of clarity Wheland knows what he wants and needs…Rooster by his side forever, permanently and legally. They also want to pursue their need for the whole package…a complete family.
I was thrilled when I learned that Ann had gifted us with this unexpected delight. Catching the occasional glimpse of my Rock Gods in the spin off series was appeasing my needs but I really wanted my men back. I knew that their stories just weren’t finished! This book not only let me catch up a bit but finally let me see Wheland and Rooster get their HEA. Something they both truly deserved. And the wedding in Hawaii was the icing on the cake! I sat in front of the ocean here at home in Hawaii, as I read this, and felt like I was peeking in on their wedding.
Catching up with the other members of the bands was a true treat too. From Dante and Ashton wanting to come play with them in their playroom to meeting Alex, Danni and Chase’s newest arrival, it was a wonderful catch-up with all my favorites.
Surrogacy is the most selfless and amazing gift. The ability to bring a childless couple their baby is unfathomable to most. I have a dear friend whose daughter is doing that right now. It is the most precious gift someone can give, the gift of a family. Gina held a very special place in my heart. She was truly an amazing and giving person.
The part that made me smile even harder was in the Author’s notes: “You’ve all made it abundantly clear to me as to the crazy, mad love you have for my Rock Gods, and I truly love you for that. The guys still still talk to me, even though they know I have moved on to write stories about the men who work for them. Apparently, they aren’t done with me telling their stories yet, and I guess that means you’ll be treated from time to time in the future with more of these quick glimpses into what your men are up to! So, it looks like we’ll be seeing each other backstage hanging with the guys from Black Ice and Ivory Tower for a while to come! Better buckle up. There’s plenty more where this came from. Xx” I bet you can hear my squealing all the way across your reading device! More to come!!! I can’t wait!
