On a mission to check out the new owners, Dominic runs into Caleb Jones and gives the gorgeous man his phone number—but getting a date should be the last thing on Dominic’s agenda.
Caleb and his best friend, Zach Briceworth, are oblivious to the heartache and magic tied to the foundations of their new home. When strange things start to happen, the truth emerges and surprises them both, especially as everything revolves around Caleb’s new love interest.

The past is not always as it seems, and the ripples of a tragic event threaten to put an end to everything between them.
REVIEW:
This took spooky ghost stories to a whole other level. This was hauntingly sad. I really like Annabelle Jacobs writing. She always has her stories set in these quaint little English towns. She truly makes me feel like I am right there in the world that she’s describing. She’s truly amazing at it and I feel that way on pretty much all of her stories. I love that about this author.
Dominic Ashworth comes from a long line of witches. While ensuring the safety of his lineage he meets the new tenant of his childhood home.
Caleb Jones knows nothing about witchcraft but he knows weird things have been happening in his new home. Things he can’t explain and things he doesn’t understand. He thinks meeting Dominic is just a coincidence but secrets are lurking around every corner.
Dominic comes into Caleb’s life through a lie but their connection and attraction can’t be denied. They start a tentative relationship but there is something happening in the house that is making their relationship difficult. All the while Dominic is still trying to make sure his families age old curse isn’t able to come into fruition.
This story is heavily laden with mystery and as serious spook factor all the while developing an intense relationship between these two main characters.
This author is known for strong writing and this story doesn’t disappoint. The plot was mysterious and captivating and the characters were well developed and throughout.
Anyone who loves their romances laden with mystery, a little spook factor and some serious steam will really enjoy this story.
Recommend.
