BLURB:
Dale is working his way through college as an exotic dancer. While he prefers to keep his performances public, it’s tough to say no to the private dances, even though they’re risky. Three songs, just dancing, no touching—Dale can do this and be handsomely compensated.
For Italian businessman Adriano “Gen” Genovese, the handsome cowboy tempts him into wanting more than one dance. Gen convinces Dale to indulge in another dance and a night in his decadent hotel room. He introduces Dale to a glittering world of wealth on a scale Dale has never even imagined.
As the romance between the down-home Texas student and the millionaire playboy heats up, they come to realize the only risk they face is losing their hearts.
REVIEW:
I have become a huge fan of author BA Tortuga. She definitely didn’t disappoint in the red hot, steaming sex erotica.
Dale is a college student that is dancing in a gay club to help himself get by financially until he graduates soon. He gets in, does his dances and leaves so he can pour back over the books. But that all suddenly changes when an extremely good looking, sexy man makes him start second guessing his self-imposed rules. Gen is all about business with an occasional break for personal needs. That all also changes when he spots the beautiful blonde cowboy that is dancing at a club he was required to be at for a business meeting, a meeting that has bothered him until the blonde cowboy appeared on stage and then the private dance in the room they were having their meeting in. Gen is back in less than a week to see “Dee” dance again, and hoping “Dee” can be convinced to accompany him for drinks, dinner and maybe more. “Private Dances” is the story of how the handsome Italian businessman and the Texas cowboy college student work on a relationship based on more than just a few dances.
I loved how Dale grew throughout this story. He started out as just a college student trying to get by on his own. As his relationship grew with Gen, he seemed to mature and learn to trust. Something that took a bit of time. He also had to learn how to accept that life isn’t all written in stone. Gen surprised me even more in his learning to understand where Dale was coming from. That he needed personally to feel like he was successful and carrying his own weight. Gen had to learn to trust even more, something that he wasn’t accustomed to. Watching these two men learn to accept what was needed for their love to bloom and grow was delightful and promising.
Did I mention that this book was filled with mind-blowing sex? When these two men were in each other’s arms it was blistering white, hot! They fit with each other perfectly like “Hand in glove”.
This is a re-release and I am so thankful that I found this fast-paced, quick book that really lifted my spirits, and possibly my blood pressure (wink/wink). If you are looking for a book with not too much angst and a wonderful love story you will find it here. I loved it and definitely recommend this one. Only wish there was a follow up but you don’t always get what you want.
