REVIEW:
Raven Liron used to be a government agent working directly for Victoria Mize until Demon Elite got him out, then they hired him! Victoria had Raven’s brother Iain kidnapped so she could use him as leverage so that Raven would do her illegal dirty work. Ashley Wilkens, is determined to find Iain before he’s sold as a sex slave.
Ashley “Ash” is Demon Elites interrogator which is a much better position than the one he held for years as the governments ‘torturer’. Ash feels so much guilt for what he has done in the past that for him rescuing Iain is a mild form of redemption, he knows he will never be able to forgive himself but he may be able to have a bit of redemption. When he realises where Iain is being held, and tortured, {the same room Ash used to work in} Ash just wants blood. Whilst Iain is being tortured Victoria made a video to be sent to Demon Elite, just to torment them! After Iain wakes up in hospital he has his pain meds turned off because, as a recovering drug addict it’s far too tempting.
As Ash and Iain get to know each other, Ash can’t get over the fact that Iain doesn’t care that he used to torture people for his job but then again, Ash doesn’t care that Iain is a recovering addict. Things at the lakehouse heat up as Iain recovers from being tortured, Germ discovers that Victoria has put a hit out on Reggie, {Victoria’s brother} even though she tried to sell him as a sex slave. The hitman Victoria has hired is the same one she used in her attempt to take out Justin, the leader of Demon Elite, Sydney Marshall. Even though things are starting to come together in their investigation of Victoria, her human trafficking ring as well as the multiple hits she has out on various members of Demon Elite, Ash and Iain find time to connect and fall in love.
Things are getting very interesting and dangerous for the Demon Elite men and their respective partners. You must read this series to get the maximum benefit of the storyline. You will only be sorry if you don’t read about the Demon Elite!!
