REVIEW:
Compelled is a completely different variation of a paranormal shifter romance story.
Alex and Eric are a married couple who have been together since they were teenagers. Alex was nineteen when his uncle died and he inherited his ranch. This is where they discovered the dragons, whilst they were exploring the caves on the property. This is when they found that dragons are made not born and when Yassie the leader of the dragons asked if they would like to be turned it took a while but they agreed. Let me just say, being turned is not for the faint of heart!
When Lou meets Alex and Eric she is newly single since her latest boyfriend decided to take off with a ‘teenybopper’. As it’s bike week in Daytona there are bikers everywhere and the last thing Lou is interested in is getting involved with anyone let alone two men. The longer Lou is around Alex and Eric the more she wants to get to know them, it’s almost like she’s being “compelled” to be with them. Within several hours of meeting them Lou has done practically everything she vowed she wasn’t going to do!
Alex and Eric have been looking for a woman to round out their marriage for years but there’s always been something missing in the women they’d been with previously. Alex is a Dom an Eric the submissive and it works very well for both of them, because Eric tended to be docile in the extreme they both figured they needed a strong woman to balance out the relationship. Both Alex and Eric know that Lou is the one for them, everything she does and says is almost perfectly in sync with them. Now they just have to find a way to tell Lou what they are without her freaking out and then convince her to be their mate.
I don’t know if it’s because this book is so very different within the parameters of the” normal” shifter love story or the fact that it was quite frustrating trying to keep up with a love story that was more clinical than romance. I wish I liked this story more as the blurb sounded really interesting, unfortunately the story didn’t live up to the promise.
