REVIEW:
When I got the request to review this book I honestly wasn’t aware of the fact that it was a sequel let alone the fact that the first book caused such a hassle! So picture me surprised when I found that out. As this book cannot be read as a standalone I did read Black Balled first and liked it. So I did go forward and read this new release to post a review.
In this book we follow-up on the lives of Larson and Troy, with Larson writing his new bestseller and Troy hitting the jackpot with his first release. Obviously this brings quite a few fuelled up moments in both these men’s lives. Bringing in a romantic challenge as well a confirmation of something that they both were already very aware of.
I have mixed feelings about the book (both books if I am honest). The characters of Troy and Larson are appealing, interesting and the chemistry in their relationship is of the charts. I found myself really liking the parts when there was a serious involvement in something, when they were interacting. Unfortunately for me there was too little of this. Why you want to know? Simply put there is so much sex! I know shocker coming from me but yes there was so much sex especially oral that I noticed myself skipping those scenes more and more towards the end.
Like I said I really like both men so I was fascinated by their relationship. I do think that both authors did a wonderful job with this second book, giving this couple a more complete and happy ending.
A special mention should go to the awesome lady and neighbour Ida. She is hilarious and wonderful but even more sincere, wise, caring and loving and she plays an important part in this book and in the men’s lives.
I also want to point out the opposite relationships with family. I like how both authors show a portrait of how it can be from both sides of the coin, loving and caring as well abandonment and brutal.
Overall I have to say I liked this book a bit more than average but it didn’t stand out for me like it could have. Still if you read Black Balled I am pretty sure you will definitely want to read this one and warm yourselves, despite some struggles down the road, a wonderful HEA

“Bridge to Lonely” has garnered an unexpected success both in the literary world and in the film industry, forcing Larson to accept that he is not the only successful author in the building. But as Troy’s old flame decides to make an appearance, the two alphas are forced to test the strength of their love. Let the battle of the egos recommence; where sarcasm is the preferred weapon, and the testosterone levels go beyond the boiling point.

I just purchased Hard Edit so can’t comment yet – but I LOVED Black Balled and so I’m sure I’ll enjoy this sequel
