A warm welcome to our next featured GRL author : Jenn Dease.
Jenn joins us to talk to us , answers the question asked and brought along a giveaway!
Welcome Jenn 🙂
Hello Everyone. This is Jenn Dease, MLR Press author, on the road to GRL Blog Tour. Many thanks to Love Bytes for having me. Love Bytes is one of my favorite review blogs, and I am a subscriber.
I have a couple of news items and a giveaway toward the end of this blog.
For those who are wondering, I am a Chef in the EDJ. I answer to the highest authority, which is my red-headed sisters. Two of them. Yes, I feel your sympathy. Thank you.
Now. What to blog about……My inspirations? Different things for different stories. A daily calendar picture inspired one story I am in the middle of. A Facebook post for someone else is the cause of a space opera I am also writing. My Dragon Marines, so far, seem to pop into my head. Not the whole story, though. Just the characters and the main plot. Subplots? Dear God. Please don’t go there. Way too many.
Dragon Marines? Yes, Dragons. Why? I’ve always been fascinated with the idea of a large, flying, sometimes fire-breathing, lizard-like creature. With noble intentions. If they can shift into an equally noble human, great. A handsome, intelligent, strong male of the species? So much the better.
Do I have a playlist? Uhh, No. Usually, when I’m sitting at the computer, the TV is on in the background or the radio is tuned to the local Country station. Yes, Country. No, I don’t live in the West or the South. I’m in Pittsburgh, PA. I just like Country music.
Now, for my news: MLR Press is publishing another Storming Love series. This one is Tsunami. It takes place in Australia and New Zealand. My book is ‘Max & Rob’. As soon as I have a date, I will post it on my blog. www.jenndease.com Also on my Twitter account. @momsdesk1
Also, MLR Press is PRINTING my three Dragon Marines stories in one volume!! I crawled down from the ceiling to write this blog and tell you about it. The book should be available at GRL. YAY!
To celebrate, I am offering one lucky person who comments on this blog a $10 MLR Press Gift Certificate. The winner will be picked one week from today, Tuesday, September 6th.
I was asked by author Hans M. Hirschi ; What is the most rewarding and most frustrating aspect of your writing process?
Wow. Rewarding would have to be seeing my Beta reader, (Yes, one of my Redheads), actually shed tears when she was reading my MS. And of course, seeing the story on the MLR Press website.
Frustrating. When you have managed to get part of a day or even an hour or two to write and the danged characters won’t talk to you. Or the wrong characters talk to you. ‘Go away Strader. I’m working on Copper’s book now!’ Yes, I know Strader is a Dragon, but he has to wait his turn.
My question for Tempeste O’Riley is; If you could spend a day with any of your couples, which would it be and why?
Thank you to everyone reading this. I do appreciate it.

Here is the blurb from Storming Love Flood Bridge & Doug, my previous Storming Love book.
Fourth generation lawman, Bridge Bridgerton, has never seen Copper Creek, Texas, flood before. Doug Jones is a lifeguard stopping in Copper Creek to look after his grandfather’s house. Together, they help rescue some of the residents trapped in the rising water. And together, they feel an attraction for each other that gets stronger day by day. But, will they be able to stay together once the water goes down?

Jenn Dease starting reading Nancy Drew in grade school and has never stopped. She scribbled a few stories here and there but never finished one. On an Amazon recommendation, Jenn tried a JL Langley book and discovered the world of GLBT Romance. She has not looked back. This time the scribbles were actually finished. And thanks to MLR & Momma Kris Jacen, a book was published. The first of many, she hopes.
