REVIEW:
I never in my whole life thought I would say this but I was TOTALLY turned on by a monster. The Chimera got me like…HELLOOOO, scaled, fur, plated armor, exoskeleton and all!! The way Adrienne Wilder made the Chimera endearing, attracting, and appealing was pure genius. Throughout the first 3 books I was scared of Leo’s other half but in Reborn the Chimera is front and center and while he is dangerous and at times frightening, I really liked him/it, whatever. Needless to say, book 4 did not disappoint. It was everything a series finale should be. It had all the feels, passion, angst, violence, and manipulations to make a really great story.
In Reborn Leo, Kaleb, and Aaron are navigating their new relationship as a threesome. But there are outside forces set on destroying Leo’s happiness.
In order to protect what’s most important to him, his doxies, Leo unleashes the Chimera to ultimately hunt down and kill the god-son.
This story is action packed and not to mention kinky and hot as ever. This story was so good and fans of the series will love how it all came together. There are a lot more feels in this book. You really feel the connection between Leo, Kaleb, and Aaron and not to mention the connection Aaron and Kaleb have as a pair. It’s quite remarkable how it all unfolds and I loved every minute of it.
Overall, I am so so sad to see this series come to an end but I’m also quite excited for the spinoffs. There were several different doors left open in this book and I can’t wait to see where the author goes with the characters involved.
I just want to stress that these aren’t standalone stories but you will not regret getting sucked into the series. Absolutely recommend!!
