The stakes are rising.
As the god-son closes in leaving more bodies in its wake, treason and betrayal against the Association is unveiled. An inquiry for the Goddesses has been called, threatening everything Leo holds dear.
And the Chimera is not about to let go without a fight.
Despite the dangers lurking in the shadows, Leo wants his doxie Kaleb to think of only one thing. Him. His training. His purpose. And embrace the reality of what he is and not be ashamed of his attraction to Aaron, the doxie tossed aside by Sol.
Attraction is one thing. Bringing the boy to their bed is something else entirely. Kaleb can’t possibly want anyone but Leo. A lie Kaleb will pay dearly for. Penance Leo will be more than happy to deliver.
But penance for a lie will pale in comparison to what Kaleb must do to keep Sol from taking Aaron away, and invoking the Chimera into a lifetime in chains.
REVIEW:
I was honestly so worried about this book. Being 100% invested in these men and these stories I was scared to death for this book. When an author apologizes before the story even starts I become apprehensive. Needless to say just like the past 2 books I was sucked in right from the onset. It is the easiest thing to get wrapped up in this world and “HOLY blow the top off your head” HOTTNESS!!! This is unlike any erotica I’ve ever read. This is so beyond hot it is not even remotely funny. How this author has come up with these scenes…just the thought amazes me. Anyway, if you could decipher by now this book is amazing. Absolutely mind melting world altering unbelievably AMAZING!
So these books are start almost immediately after the last book finishes so we are caught right back in the Kaleb, Leo, and Aaron dynamic. With machinations going on all around them Leo is stuck trying to ensure the boys stay with him and stay safe.
Trying to determine who’s good and whose bad is taking its toll but Leo doesn’t let that stop him enjoying his doxies.
Aaron and Kaleb are so perfect for Leo. I really do love this ménage and I hope, hope, and hope this author doesn’t split them up.
Getting back to my original comments, all is not hot sex here. There’s some pain, some shocking pain but honestly it didn’t bother me as much as I thought it would. I knew something big and bad was coming, it happened. It was big. It was bad but it wasn’t a deal breaker and I think it made everything that happened after all the more meaningful.
I loved this book. It was so good but keep in mind these are not standalones. I highly recommend starting book 1…you’ll love it too!!
