For my guest spot this month, I’d like to ask everyone to please consider buying Over The Rainbow, a collection of short stories and poems from a wide group of authors. All the proceeds go to the Pulse Victims Fund, to support those who were affected by the tragedy in Orlando.
I’d also like to thank all the people behind the scenes who helped pull this anthology together to quickly — the authors, the editors, and the team at Extasy who helped make this happen.
Also, if you’re able, it would be better to buy directly from Extasy, as third party seller Amazon takes their cut before passing profits on.
There are a lot of great stories in the anthology, and I’m sure you’ll find more than one that you love.
I had hoped to have a longer post written for this month, but I’m not sure there’s anything I can say that that will even come close to encompassing how I feel about what happened in Orlando. While I was honoured to be able to do something, however small, to assist helping those in need, it’s heartbreaking that it was even necessary.
Let’s hope this is the last time you’ll ever need a collection like this…
