REVIEW:
I honestly don’t know how it is possible but this series just keeps getting better and better. Granted I thoroughly enjoyed books 1 and 2 of the series but I absolutely loved this one. I really love all the characters that this author creates. She does damaged men so damn well; your heart just breaks and bleeds for them.
Hawke has spent the past several years trying to find the men that murdered his wife. He needs revenge and justice and will stop at nothing to get it. He’s unprepared for the feelings that another man inspires in him.
Tate just wants to help Hawke then move on with his life while raising his son. He doesn’t want to be caught up in the atrocities of his past. He realizes he’s falling for Hawke the more he’s around him and he’s helpless to do anything about it.
These 2 men embark on an incredibly terrifying journey that ultimately puts them in danger but also brings them both peace and love that they weren’t expecting.
Hawke and Tate were equal parts hot and so sweet together. The way Hawke embraced his feelings made my heart so happy. I loved all the interactions between Hawke and Matty plus the addition of Ronan and Seth was perfect.
This author without a doubt has me sucked in. Great writing, characters, and story lines!! Absolutely recommend this series and Retribution; it may be my favorite!!
I can’t wait for Mavs book to come out…
