Anthony’s had the day from hell at his call center job, and he plans to drink away the memory, so he finds the nearest club and gets started. Lucky for him there’s an attractive man in the crowd who’s willing to act without too many questions. A hot trip to the back of the bar and some heavy action is in order.
The next morning Anthony wakes in an unfamiliar bed to a hellish headache and the heavenly scent of coffee. He didn’t ask questions the night before, so why ask them now? Okay, maybe one. Why does his attractive one-night stand have feathers?
REVIEW:
Wow! Hot and short! Anthony is having a bad day, and the one thing he needs is a good fuck. He stops at a bar, liquors up, and gets his itch scratched! He gets a bit more than he bargains for, as he discovers the next morning…
This is just really short, I know it’s supposed to be that way, but at 21 pages there isn’t much for me to tell without giving it all away! I liked Anthony as a character, we’ve all had that day that we just want to forget and get over. I could totally sympathize with him. I liked that he was a man on a mission, knowing what he wanted and making it happen. His conquest for the evening seemed really cool, and I wish there had been just a little more about him. I wanted to know details! A little world building would have been nice. I ended up more curious than anything at the end of the book! There is a bit of humor, Anthony seems like he might not have a filter and some silly comments came out that made me laugh. The writing was ok, there wasn’t enough plot to really tell for sure though.
It was just a hot little bit of fun!
