Missionary Disposition – Dale Cameron Lowry
Two young men bound for Mormon missions decide to have one final hurrah before turning their lives over to the control of their church for two years. They meet up in the U.S. state of Colorado for ten days of camping and sex, then head to opposite sides of the world. But the enforced chastity of their missions can’t make them forget their nights of passion, and when they return home, each is eager to show the other how sorely he was missed

Just my Luck by E.C. Cutler – Reviewed by Kat
Ash and Danny have been best mates for the last six years. They are out on the town having fun at a casino. When the fun and exciting evening draws to a close Danny surprised Ash with an unusual request from far left field being that he is straight and in a relationship with his girlfriend.
This story is short and to the point which is what you expect and want in a story that is only a few pages long…basically just a scene. The author did a good job of not just a sex scene however but gave some insight to the two men. Who they were and, in Danny’s case, what his secret hidden desires/fantasies were.
A nice, very short, sweet read with a little spice.

I found this to be a very touching and sexy short story. Mike was a courageous young man to come out to his family especially after discovering his mother abandoned his Uncle because he was gay.
On the night he comes out, Mike is escorted out of the house with nothing more than the clothes on his back. But all is not as it seems, and I very much enjoyed what unfolded. One could say the ending was bitter sweet. The sex in this story is told via a flash back, and then returns to present day and his current love interest, Roger. We don’t get to know much about Roger but the fact he was there for Mike endeared him to me. The way his uncle’s watches played into the plot left me smiling. For some reason the story is peppered with typos, which detracted from my reading enjoyment. Despite that fact, I’d happily read more by this author.

The story is narrated through Grimm, as he tells his sexy story about being with a man to his girlfriend Lisa, who strokes his dick and interrupts the narration to ask questions. The couple fondle throughout the retelling, and it ends with them having sex.
This story did not work for me! Firstly, I love reading all sexual combinations, gay, straight, bi, etc. However, I hate, hate, hearing about dripping vaginas, or vaginas turning to water as was the case in this short story. And more importantly, I don’t expect to read such content when picking up a book toted as – “Five sensually seductive tales of guy-on-guy action… “

I really enjoyed the opening of this story – the bar setting and the descriptions of ‘Mr Smooth’. For a short story there’s a lot packed into it. Max works for the Red Cross, the story is set in Sussex, from what I could gather, so when it jumped to his helping out in the Christchurch quakes, it hit a cord with me having family members who lived through the horrific events, many of whom are still suffering the aftermath and ongoing tremors. I can only assume, Max was flown out to New Zealand to assist. Or there’s a place named Christchurch near Sussex? I didn’t care to google it. Either way the story progresses at a fast clip and its not all light reading. After the fight scene, Rick and Max return to Max’s house. Rick dropping to his knees in submission came so far out of the left field it left me reeling. The entire time Max played with Rick, he wished it was Jay on his knees. There’s a plot reveal that explains what confused me. However, it’s a troupe I don’t care for, and came too late to undo my disconnect prior to reading the scene.

This is the story of Alfie and… Okay, so I have rechecked the story three times and you never get to know the story teller’s name. This is a first for me! Alfie does call out Babe during one of their many romps but no name??? I know that he was a virgin and lived in Provo, Utah and had very long eyelashes but no name. That is just weird but oh well!
This is the second story I have read by Dale Cameron Lowry that was Mormon missionary based. I even asked him on Facebook if he was a former LDS missionary because he got it so spot on but he said that he hadn’t been. He does a really good job of relaying the feel of a gay boy trapped in the church and what is expected of you. Mormon boys are expected to go to school, graduate, devote 2 years (give or take) to the mission field and then come back and marry a good Mormon girl. Parents and Grandparents save money all their lives to send them on their mission. Unfortunately, if you are gay you have to hide those “sinful urges” and lie to your family and friends about who you truly are. Gay Mormons rarely remain with the church once they seek out a companion. The author did a really good job conveying these ideals in such a short story.
This story was packed with sex. From first-timers to more advanced action, it was all covered. Hot, sexy read.
