Dominic and I have been together for over 20 years, but 2016 is what we officially consider our twentieth anniversary. So in the next few weeks, he and I will be on a two week German vacation. Dominic speaks German and when I decided to attend Euro Pride Con in Berlin this year, Dominic was not going to be left home. Berlin is his favorite city and he and I visited it on our Honeymoon. He was disappointed that her wasn’t able to go to Munich with me last year, but this year we are going all out.
My husband is an amazing man. he cares for me in way I can’t begin to count. The unwavering support and love I get from him is sometimes so overwhelming I wonder what in the heck I did to ever deserve him. So over the next few weeks I get to say thank you for all the little things he does each and every day to help me.
Here is a picture of the two of us on the day that we legally married, but our real anniversary was a meeting of the hearts many years before the government caught up with our feelings for each other.
Andrew grew up in western Michigan with a father who loved to tell stories and a mother who loved to read them. Since then he has lived throughout the country and traveled throughout the world. He has a master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and now writes full time.
Andrew’s hobbies include collecting antiques, gardening, and leaving his dirty dishes anywhere but in the sink (particularly when writing) He considers himself blessed with an accepting family, fantastic friends, and the world’s most supportive and loving partner. Andrew currently lives in beautiful, historic Carlisle, Pennsylvania.
