Player vs. Player. Fight!
Brilliant graphic designer Ravi Tandel is ahead of the game—he’s just been asked to present a top secret project at a huge conference in Seattle. All systems are go…until he learns his buttoned-up office nemesis is coming along for the ride.
Tristan Jones isn’t really the gamer type, but he knows the back end of the video game business inside out. Together, he and Ravi will give an awesome presentation. If they survive the cross-country trip first.
Tossed together in close quarters, Ravi’s shocked to see Tristan’s sexy, softer side emerge from such a conservative shell. He’s less shocked to learn his handsome colleague’s prominent family would never support an out-and-proud son. But Ravi didn’t struggle through his own coming out to hide who he is now. To be together, Tristan will have to push past his fear and ultimately decide: Does he want a future with Ravi? Or is it game over before they’ve even begun?
REVIEW:
I swear this author just keeps getting better and better with this series. There is something so fun and unique with how these stories play out. I really love the characters and the situations they find themselves in. Something I’m finding myself liking which is surprising for me is how the main characters have this slow burn thing going on. There’s definite attraction from the onset but the passion builds and builds over time and when it erupts…DAMN…just damn!! I really loved both Ravi and Tristan. Both characters are so likeable and you truly want the absolute best for them especially after the families get introduced.
Ravi and Tristan work together at the Space Villager office. Both men are like night and day. Ravi likes to stand out he’s bright, and beautiful. Tristan doesn’t want to be noticed. He wants his abilities as an employee to be the only thing people focus on. After an emergency involving several employees occurs, Ravi and Tristan are forced to work closely together for days on end. Both men are unprepared for the intense attraction they start feeling towards the other.
Both men have intense hang-ups in regards to dating, especially dating a coworker so they set out to keep things as casual as possible. Things don’t go as planned and feelings start getting involved.
This story is all about the push and pull, the give and take. These two are so incredibly perfect together I loved watching them battle their feelings. Also, the protectiveness that occurred when dealing with their family situation was perfect as well.
This author is so good at pulling readers into her stories. I love her characters and the world she builds. It makes me want to be a part of it. I want to be an employee at Space Villager and have Ravi and Tristan as my coworkers….friggin LOVE them!!
This was an excellent addition to the series…c can’t wait for book 3….highly recommend!!
