But finding ‘Baby James’ Waterman proves to be a personal and professional challenge, as the elusive, hostile, and surprisingly sexy James is nothing that Rudy expected. But Rudy’s scrappy motivation to get the story at all costs plunges him into the mountain community of Singing Bear Village, where he senses strange and frightening secrets simmering beneath the surface. But what’s simmering between Rudy and his reluctant interview subject is something more carnal and heated, and his desire to be consumed by it clouds his judgement when warning bells urge him to flee the village and never look back.
REVIEW:
This was one of the most enjoyable books I’ve read in quite a while. This was very unique with the paranormal/sci-fi elements. It’s awesome when you have a story line pin pointed and you truly believe you know what’s going to happen, then BAM…huge twist!! It just really makes they whole expierence so much better. I loved that about this story. I loved how different it felt but it was still heavy on the romance and with a deep connection between these two characters.
Rudy is an up and coming hot shot journalist with HUGE ideals. He thinks he deserve bigger more important jobs. At a crossroads his boss assigns him the opportunity to locate and interview a long lost child star who disappeared shortly after his 18th birthday.
JT has happily left his old life behind. He is doing incredibly important and dangerous works and prefers to be left alone especially because of the sensitive nature of his work.
He’s unprepared for Rudy’s tenacity. He’s unprepared for the strong attraction he feels. JT knows he should be pushing Rudy away, not pulling him closer and closer.
Rudy finds out about JT and his friends work and his discovery has dangerous repercussions. To keep him safe JT includes Rudy in on his findings and what he’s been doing for the years he’s been away. During this time they both can’t fight the huge attraction they feel for each other. These two are incredibly HOT together and Rudy is a naughty boy with a filthy, gorgeous mouth.
I truly enjoyed everything about this story and can’t wait for book #2…it’s going to be so good!!
