REVIEW:
This was such an emotional, painful, beautiful journey and I’m really sad to say it’s over. With that said I don’t think this book could have ended any better. I knew Will needed to do some soul searching and while his means were quite devastating, I get it. Sort of, but I am such a Patrick fan and seeing him in pain hurts me no matter how necessary.
Per usual with this series book 6 starts up immediately at the end of book 5. We learn news that we’ve been expecting from book 1 but do not want nor prepared for. There’s an incredibly beautiful scene between Patrick and Will at the beginning of the book that truly solidifies all the emotions these two men feel for each other. It was so good! Patrick is still an amazing surgeon with a prickly heart and Will is still…well, Will. And I love them together.
There is a ton of healing in this book. Feuds laid to rest and the start of beautiful beginnings. There’s also death and pain.
Fans will love this finale. It’s everything a reader could ever hope for. It lays to rest some of your fears and doubts and shows the start of something truly magical. Plus the writing just gets better and better. Love this writing duo.
I’ve probably said this in every review but this is a must read…absolute MUST READ….recommend!!
