    1. Oops,, forgot to mention I’m in Central Time Zone, US. I’d love to visit Amsterdam some time. I hear it’s great.

  1. I am in the Eastern Standard Time zone, being in Pennsylvania, USA. (I believe it is called Eastern Daylight Time when we stupidly move the clocks an hour back in October for Fall. Or vice-versa, maybe it’s Eastern Daylight Time now?. We then move the clocks ahead an hour in March for Spring. Such an outdated practice, IMO, that serves no purpose.)

  2. I am in Arizona time zone…which, because AZ doesn’t do daylight savings, part of the year is the same as Pacific and the other part of the year Mountain. It is confusing…

  3. Here on the East Coast of the U.S. we’re currently on Eastern Daylight Time. Spring forward and lose an hour (ugh), Fall back and gain an hour. I like Fall better…..who doesn’t need an extra hour?

  4. Another fabulous price package ๐Ÿ˜€ Central Time Zone – Eastern edge in Chicago, but still Central.

  5. I also live in the Eastern Time Zone. Currently EDT until November when it changes back to EST. Such a stupid custom.

  6. Daylight savings time here in the west USA. Spring forward, fall back…WHY??? Could the idiots please leave the time alone!

  7. CDT for me. It’s actually kind of difficult for me to even change one time zone when traveling as my body/head seems to be stuck in CDT since I’ve lived here for so long. ๐Ÿ™‚

  8. I’m located in the Central Time zone within the US. It always amazes me that friends are made on social media sites from so many different time zones. I don’t think there is a single zone that I haven’t had to calculated what time it is in another part of the world. Thanks for a chance in the giveaway.

  9. I’m in Arizona where we don’t have Daylight Savings so currently we are in Pacific Time Zone. When everyone else turns the clocks back in the fall, we’ll be in Mountain Time Zone.

  10. I just wanted to make a note to say that I was the lucky winner of this post, yet 2 authors never released their prizes. I’m a little bummed that I didn’t receive Otter Chaos by PD Singer, and alot bummed that I never received the swag items from Megan Erickson.

Dani was a tremendous help in contacting the authors and ensuring that they, or their assistants, were aware of my contact info. After I hadn’t received my prizes from Megan Erickson and PD Singer 5 weeks after winning the post, I again thanked Dani via email and sadly told her I’d given up hope in ever getting the full prize list.

I just don’t understand why an author would say they’d contribute a prize then not deliver. My TBR shelf will never include titles by PD Singer as a result, and I will only read Megan Erickson’s co-written Cyberlove series with Santino Hassell, because of him.

I’d had such high hopes for some cool swag related to the Cyberlove series, and am disappointed enough to let readers know that the author failed to deliver her own advertising items. Ms. Erickson told Dani on May 25 that she’d forgotten about the sawg bag and would send it but that it may take a while. It’s now August 2, and I haven’t received anything from Ms. Erickson.

The ironic thing is that both Megan Erickson and I live in Pennsylvania, so it’s not like it’s international postage or anything that would cause a delay of 2 months.

I have begun narrowing down my huge TBR shelves by eliminating authors whose writing style just isn’t my cuppa, or those who don’t interact positively with their readers. Perhaps others should do the same, because there are plenty of friendly authors out there who value their readers.

Please take a minute to leave a comment it is so appreciated !
