Learning to be in a committed relationship has been easy for Spencer. In fact, too easy. Andrew has fit into his life seamlessly. Spencer’s let go of his insecurities and hang-ups, and he and Andrew are enjoying where things are headed.
For the first time in years, Spencer’s life is unbelievably perfect.
Andrew overthinks everything. So when Spencer gets a phone call from Australia, he’s certain Spencer will push him away.
But instead of driving them apart, maybe it will solidify what they already have. Maybe Spencer will depend on Andrew more than ever. Maybe the Spencer Cohen story will come full circle, and maybe, just maybe, Spencer will have the happily ever after he never thought possible.
REVIEW:
I seriously don’t even know what to say about this book! I didn’t think NR Walker could do any better than the first two, but wow, she totally did!
I’ll keep this short, I’ve given lots of details in my reviews of the previous two books, so will skip a lot of it here.
Spencer and Andrew are now an committed couple, but the three big words have not been exchanged yet. Both of them feel it, but that is a scary thing for both. Andrew was burned in his last relationship and knows he has the tendency to go to fast, so he is trying his best to take things slow. Spencer is so scared of commitment he can’t even figure it out when everyone else sees his love for Andrew. Of course this is a romance, so you know they do cough it out, and Spencer the dork, has the most bizarre timing of his declaration of love!
Their relationship has some rough times in this book, Spencer has a medical issue followed by some major family drama, but Andrew is a trooper and stays by him no matter what. Even though he gets the snot scared out of him by the medical issue, and the family drama has them flying to Australia on a moments notice.
Lots of fantastic banter goes on between the two men, including the magazine cover jokes started in the first book. I tend to find those bits can get drug out too long, but that was not the case with this series. It was just so cute that I didn’t mind at all!
Spencer’s friends and Andrew’s friends finally overlap in this book, and it was fun to see how that played out. So much of the first two books have been Spencer’s friends, I liked seeing more of Andrew’s life. We also get some time with Yanni, from book two.
Some really yummy sex occurs, I’ve read so many books that I tend to “yadda yadda” the sex scenes when there are too many or they get too repetitive, but not in these last two books! Spencer and Andrew are so damn hot. I did have to look up what a papasan chair was, now I want one! Not for the purposes that these two naughty boys use it for at one point, but it looks like a comfy chair!
Then there is the ending. Sigh….. I freaking LOVED IT! Oh my god. I cried and laughed, it was kinda gross actually! But wow, so damn sweet! Just the absolute perfect way to end these fantastic little stories. I loved them and will miss Spencer and Andrew, but this was so fun, three short stories, and they lived happily ever after. Woohoo! So good.
If you haven’t read the first two, you must rectify that situation immediately! Go to Amazon and buy them NOW! If you read them, this one will be a no-brainer, you’ll love it. If you haven’t read them, you really need to before you read this book. They are not standalone stories.
Well that wasn’t as short as I expected!
NR Walker has become an auto buy author for me, she’s really an amazing author. Great stories, characters, sex, writing, she nails it all.
