REVIEW:
WOW….just WOW…what the heck is going on here?!?!!? I honestly can’t wait to find out. This is the quintessential leaving you on the edge of your seat book. But only in the best ways possible. I found myself completely ensconced in this story. I had to know what was going to happen next. At times I felt like I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough.
Kaleb finds himself the collateral in a deal his father made but never repaid. Taken from his home he finds himself shackled, shaved, and trained by Leo Roan a sexy enigma that Kaleb is drawn to.
Leo Roan has promised himself that Kaleb will be the last of his trainees. He is however unprepared for the intense connection he seems to have with the young man. Not wanting to bend he’s hard with Kaleb while also always seeming to look out for his feeling.
Both men are constantly in a battle of wills. Leo needs to break Kaleb, Kaleb is angry at his father and bitter about his situation but knows it is absolutely necessary to keep his loved ones safe.
These two are incredibly hot together but the whole situation is still such a mystery. We know Leo is something but what is still in question. The same holds true with Kaleb. He’s special but we don’t know why. The chemistry and attraction is off the charts hot.
Overall, this book was an intriguing start to a series that I am sure will leave me hanging on by a thread. I can’t wait to figure out what book two holds. There are still so many questions that need to me I answered….recommend!
