“What are we planning?” Dan shifted around. My dick, already at attention, was now quite interested in the wiggling that was occurring.
“War, my good man—war,” I said, then waggled a brow.
Dan stopped teasing and stared into my eyes. I’d feared he might balk when push came to shove, and now it looked as if my thinking had been correct. Dan Arou is a good guy—like, a real and true good guy. Maybe trying to get revenge on Prescott in the most devious ways possible would go against his grain.
“Maybe we should just let it go.”
Annnnd there it was.
I shook my head. “No, no, no, no and fucking no. We do not let it go, Dan.”
He slid off my pelvis and left the bed. I sat back up as he walked to the bedroom window and lifted one of the slats on the shade.
“I’m really not comfortable with making this a bigger thing than it is. I’d like to just keep the fact that we’re a couple under the radar as much as possible and concentrate on playing hockey,” he told the backyard.
“Dan, for fuck’s sake, the man outed you,” I reminded him, because, yeah, good guys needed to be reminded of what dicks the bad guys were at times. This is why I don’t have any morals. They just get in the way.
His back expanded when he drew in a large breath.
“Sweets, this cannot go unanswered. Prescott must pay.”
