Omorphi sold out on the first day of Salon du Livre.
DO NOT PANIC. ALL IS NOT LOST!
I have advocated for sexually abused boys for more than thirty years. I wrote Omorphi and Slaying Isidore’s Dragons for one reason: to give abused boys HOPE and a reason to live again after severe abuse. Don’t let that subject matter scare you. Omorphi is a book of hope. (And please don’t make snide remarks about my age. I’ve earned every damn year.)
I have written in multiple venues for an equal amount of time. I write for big pubs, small pubs, and movie studios. My writing curriculum vitae, my professional career, my advocation, my life, would most likely intimidate the sturdiest of souls. Yet, in spite of my contacts and profound careers and life achievements, no one saw the need for books to give abused boys hope. Until Elizabeth North.
Setting aside for a moment that Elizabeth is a consummate professional and founded a ground-breaking publishing company in GLBT literature and romance, Elizabeth has a spiritual nature that allowed her to see the value in these books before their time. She is a true visionary in every sense of the word and a formidable advocate for the human soul. She took a monumental risk in publishing these books when no other publisher would. A risk that has paid off in ways we never could have imagined. Though my books are bestsellers, we weren’t paid in dollars because Elizabeth and I have reinvested every dollar made and then some in giving hope to abused boys.
And then… along came Bénédicte Girault who saw the beauty in Omorphi. She didn’t simply read the book. She didn’t simply review the book. She consumed the book, understood the importance of it, and put herself behind advocating for abused boys. More amazing yet, she agreed to translate Omorphi… not for pay… for the featherweight promise of future pay in a percentage so small you need a magnifying glass to find it. She put her heart and very being into this translation.
If we combine Omorphi, Elizabeth, and Bénédicte, we have an international bestseller. AND THAT IS WHAT HAS HAPPENED! And there are no more books at Salon du Livre.
BUT ALL IS NOT LOST!
Do not melt down! Elizabeth, Benedicte, and I have arranged for incredible things to happen over the next three days of Salon du Livre!

About Cody Kennedy (aka Aisling Mancy)
Cody is an author who lives, most of the time, on the West Coast of the United States. Cody, writes adult fantasy, science fiction, adult romance, and fiction for gay young adults as C. Kennedy.
Raised on the mean streets and back lots of Hollywood by a Yoda-look-alike grandfather, Cody doesn’t conform, doesn’t fit in, is epic awkward, and lives to perfect a deep-seated oppositional defiance disorder. In a constant state of fascination with the trivial, Cody contemplates such weighty questions as If time and space are curved, then where do all the straight people come from? When not writing, Cody can be found taming waves on western shores, pondering the nutritional value of sunsets, appreciating the much-maligned dandelion, unhooking guide ropes from stanchions, and marveling at all things ordinary.
