Mj’s Favorite Wild Animals
I love animals of all types but I do have a few favorites and since this book features a cast of canine supporting characters, I thought I could talk about a few of my favorite animals. Plus…who doesn’t love to watch cute animal videos? <3
Canadian Lynx
I think these guys are GORGEOUS. My zoo adopted an orphan Lynx kitten (who is an adult now) and he hangs out and goes out on walks around the zoo. This is him when he was a baby <3
Red Panda
I think a lot of people have seen this video but if you haven’t it’s worth a watch!!!
Foxes (all sorts!)
I love how playful foxes are <3 They seem to have such great personalities
Flying Foxes
Also known as fruit bats. I’ve never seen one in person, but how could you not love their little faces?? <3

Sloths
Everyone loves sloths 🙂 they’re so sweet and gentle. This is another popular video but always worth watching again. So cute!!!
Clouded Leopards
These guys are so incredible. They’re graceful and powerful and watching them climb trees is really impressive…and a little scary!
Here are some babies! There are a lot of organizations who are working on rehabilitating the population of clouded leopards. I’m lucky enough to live near one of them!
Tigers
If you can’t tell, I love big cats… but my favorite has always been tigers. Beautiful, dangerous, regal. I love going to watch them. I saw these guys when they were babies. They’re much bigger now! Obviously all tigers are endangered but it hasn’t stopped people from killing them and there are two types of tiger that are already gone. The facility near me is working on rehabilitating Sumatran Tigers, one of the smallest kinds of tiger, and Malayan tigers.
Here are the babies!
An older cub. She’s nearly full grown 🙂
This one is cool because you can see the Sumatran and Malayan tiger together. The Sumatran tiger is much brighter/darker orange and has a smoother coat. You can also tell it’ll be smaller than the Malayan tiger even though it’s a week older.
okay haha enough animal talk!! Thank you for having me stop by and if you want to check out my new book the details are below 🙂 There are also links to all the places you can get a hold of me, including my monthly newsletter!
XOXO

Pawsitively In Love
What Austin Lloyd lacks in academics, he makes up for in his love of the animals who frequent his pet salon. He’s not lucky in romance, though, and his family would like him to settle down with a good man. Austin—and his golden retriever, Maggie—couldn’t agree more.
Evan Partridge isn’t good at letting people in. His messy family life and the past that’s shaped him aren’t worth bringing up. But his pug, Dexter, sure likes the pet salon owner.
Austin and Evan get off to a rough start, but being friends soon turns into something more. Unfortunately, Evan’s secretive behavior nearly does the relationship in, and the budding love affair almost crashes and burns when Evan’s troubled sister shows up on his doorstep.
Not speaking to each other is killing them both, but Evan doesn’t know how to keep Austin and help his sister at the same time. He just knows he has to try. Winning back Austin’s trust back, however, is going to take a whole lot of work.

About MJ O’Shea
M.J. O’Shea has never met a music festival, paintbrush, or flower crown she can stay away from. She loves rainstorms and a perfect cup of tea, beach days, music, bright colors, and more than anything a cozy evening with a really great book.
She is from the Pacific Northwest. While she still lives there and loves it, M.j. has the heart of a wanderer. So she puts all her dreams of far off places and extraordinary people in her books.
Except for every once in a while when she does what all travelers have to do on occasion… come home.
