Ben Marshall is completely over men and dating but gives in when his sister’s boyfriend insists he has the perfect guy for Ben and agrees to be set up. Not only is Landon the perfect guy, but Ben has the best night of his life. The only fault he can find is that Landon is moving in a few months.
REVIEW:
If I had the time and the inclination I would go and read every single K. Sterling m/m book I could get my hands on. There was something so delicious about this story and about this authors writing style that just appealed to me. Was it perfect? No. It was cheesy, super mushy gushy lovey dovey but there was something so real about it too. I loved the idea of these two men being each other’s soul mates. I loved how at times it was completely over the top but totally believable as well. Ben’s hang-ups with his idea of masculinity norms were annoying too but it didn’t take away from how enjoyable I found the story.
Landon Bright was just offered his dream job unfortunately he has to move around the world but that won’t stop him from taking it. He’s lonely though and since he has months before his move he accepts his friends blind date. He’s unprepared for the intense attraction he feels towards Ben. They connect on so many different levels and as things tend to go 1 date turns into many dates and feelings get involved.
Both men go into this believing they can keep it causal but the pull is too strong. Like I said the way this author writes a story leaves you believing what these men are feeling. It was beautiful and incredibly HOT.
Great story teller and I will be seeking at this authors stories in the future. Recommend.
