This was pretty stankin’ good for a quick little read. This author gave just enough background to pull out the emotions of the characters. I’ve never read anything by J.T. Fox but if this is what the author can do with a novella I can’t wait to read something longer. But I don’t want to detract from how good Jordan and Eric are together. So good and really friggin HOT!
Jordan and Eric have known each other since they were kids. Eric, coming from money and Jordan, relatively poor come from two different worlds. They have two big things in common, however and that’s football and being closeted. Both Eric and Jordan are pro-football players who know they can’t come out as long as they play the sport they love.
They aren’t prepared for the crazy attraction that keeps pulling them together. They both try hard to fight it but it’s a useless battle the chemistry is just too strong between the two of them.
With their careers and their livelihoods on the line they give in and find themselves the victims of a blackmailer.
This books ends on a cliffhanger BUT book 2 is already out so you can just continue on. You definitely will want to because everything about these men and this intriguing story drags you in.
So good…and now I am off to…Play Harder
