This is THE Series for me on BDSM! It is a comprehensive and insightful look into the life of the people who practice the Lifestyle of BDSM 24/7. It is not a light fluff piece nor is it a sadist approach to their kink. It is like a manual to understand the minds of those who practice and maintain a lifestyle that works for them and why they are wired this way. It is tough, gritty, fast paced with lots of Alpha Males who stand for honor, country, conviction and how they protect and love fiercely the ones that belong to them. It is also in in-depth study in how their relationships not only work but thrive. It shows their loving and caring side in contrast to their tough Alpha exterior. I can’t get enough of this fabulous series and wait in deep anticipation, for more to come.

I almost feel “book drunk” after reading this comprehensive journey into the inter-world of BDSM. I have been accused of “powering” through books before. It is a curse, at times, to be such a fast reader. It did help when I was correcting so many papers, especially essays, in my many years in education. However, when I asked to review this box set before the release of the newest book in series, I vowed I would take my time and savor it. I know it has been a year, and several hundred books read, since I read this the first time but, I have to agree, I may have missed some things or simply forgot.  But, I was reminded, while rereading this, how fabulous these books were. This book is The book, and The series, I hold all BDSM Erotica in comparison to!!! And it is even better now, after all the reading I have done in the last year, than before. Soooo good! It actually brought me close to tears a few times, okay…I admit it…it did bring me to tears. The dynamics of these five “brothers”, men who served to defend and protect America and went on to bond in a friendship so strong and inspiring. This book takes place a while after the men are discharged from the Armed Forces. They are still best friends and business partners.

This first book in the series is the story of their leader, the Dominus Trenton Leos, a BDSM master and his hunt for the elusive Unicorn he desires, a Life Slave. At first I was unsure about such an arrangement but if you could guarantee someone as totally in love and dedicated as Trenton Leos, then I might consider. In this age of feminism and strong women, it might be hard for some people to understand Kat and her dependence upon Trenton. If you have not been a victim of a traumatic event that scars you deeply you might not get Kat’s need for her Dominus and her love for him and his strength. She may have simply given up. But, even though she didn’t totally get the whole picture at first, she became stronger through him and with him. That is what love does, makes you stronger in your weak areas and strengthens your mate also.

This book also includes the story of Patronus Diesel Gentry and Paris Dalqeaute, and their stormy encounter. It is a definite “the one who got away” story that is to be continued in the newest book in the series “Right One 4 Diesel”, which I can’t wait for.  These are two ginormous men with a sexual appetite that is blistering.

In case you haven’t guessed, I loved this series and can’t wait for more of the stories of these  amazing men, their devotion to each other and the ones that they love, their fierce protectiveness, and their journeys to fine the “one”! This is a major must read series!

TITLE:  Domming The Heiress (Book 1.5)

REVIEW:

Although this book is predominately MF, it is a part of the total story.  This is the story of Kat’s publisher and the woman who kept her for the four years between her attempted murder and Trenton’s claiming of her. I, personally loved Amelia’s journey. Heiress Amelia Quinneth is not the young, inexperienced character that so many authors write about. She is a strong business woman that is the Vice-President her family’s companie and the fortune it is worth. She is also older than most heroines, mid 40’s, and that, and her status, takes a major place in her mind and causes some hard road blocks. She always has to be “On” and in control. That makes for a difficult transition from Leader to submissive. She is infamous for “topping from the bottom”, a giant BDSM NO-NO. I highly recommend you taking a jump and including this in your read.

TITLE:  A Place for Cliff (Book 2)

LENGTH: 189 pages

REVIEW:

This was one of the hardest to read in the series. We have seen glimpses of Cliff, the young Dom want-to-be, at Club Pain. He tried to come on to Kat until Trenton made sure he understood the “rule” concerning “His little mouse”! He is also the young man Paris “took down” in the Gladiator Games birthday party for Marcus, one of the “Brothers”. Cliff has had a hard life and is barely holding on. I don’t want to give things away but he and Patronus Diesel Gentry both surprised me. We have also had some previous contact with Pyotr Laszkovi, and I am a huge fan of his, especially after this book. This is the first of the three “Laszkovi Brothers” books (so far at least but hope for more) as I refer to them, and the stories of his family that Pyotr raised. Cliff and Pyotr’s story is both amazing and heart-wrenching. If you can make it out without your face wet with tears, then you are much stronger than me.

Moreover, he couldn’t be happier when the reward turned into an insatiable lover he hoped to keep for the long run. But, despite the rough attraction that holds them to each other like power-magnets, when Maxum struggles to let go of a relationship that doesn’t work; Darko’s patience and understanding that, we aren’t always where we want to be, gets tested to the max.

REVIEW:

We finally are at the book that started it all for me. I was lead to this book from a suggest reading from Amazon. One of those “if you liked that book then you might like this book” deals. Best guidance Amazon ever gave me! I remember turning to my husband and saying “Do you have any kind of idea what kind of car this is?” on the cover of the book. He looked it over and told me he had just drove one a couple weeks before. That was the plus side to his job, driving exotic cars. Well, if you don’t think that covers attract people to a book then you are sadly mistaken. That one click changed my entire reading direction and established a whole new and exciting genre for me. I fell in love with this book and then searched and found it was part of a series. It has made more sense this time though, with the other books now having been read.

While this book doesn’t deal with the BDSM Lifestyle, it still has the characters that we have met before. This book is Maxum and Darko’s story. It is filled with self questions, at least on Maxum’s part, and raw, explosive MM sex. It is not gentle but what is expected when you have two dynamic men who like to go fast on their vehicles of choice and even harder and faster in their bedrooms…or where ever suits them best at the moment! I was swept up by their raw energy and held on for a bumpy ride.

Great story that captured my attention and held me captive.

REVIEW:

Almost every person I have ever discussed this series with says that “A Place for Cliff” was their hardest book to read so far. And while I agree, it was a gut-wrencher, Taking Over Trofim was the hardest on me personally. I’m going to say it right out…Shay Wilk’s father Benjamin Wilk’s is a monster of the worst kind and never, ever should have been allowed to raise a child! He is evil and should burn in hell! He is so disgusting that he had me choking up bile at times because I couldn’t stomach what a horrible “thing”, because he doesn’t deserve to be called a human being, he is! His actions were reprehensible!

Now, that does not mean that this wasn’t a great book. On the contrary, it was one that brought so many emotions within me and that means it is an excellent book. An author that can get me so caught up and seething is really doing their job! I just get so emotional when I see people that were “suppose” to be good parents and pillars of the community be so heartless and depraved as this man. Maybe it was because I had to work so hard to finally get pregnant and carry my babies to term that I can never understand a person acting in such a way with their own flesh and blood. A child is your child no matter what sexual preference they were born to. And you are charged to love, nurture and care for this child that was “gifted” into your hands. Shay’s dad’s behavior toward not only his own son, but towards Trofim, was pure evil. But, money is a very powerful motivator and fame and status can be even more! I am just thankful that these two beautiful and loving men found each other!

This book, along with Becoming His Slave, are imperative to be read before you continue on to Right One 4 Diesel. The whole series is actually, but you have to have the background from these two books to understand the back story. This is a book that will stick with you for quite awhile!
