AUTHOR: Nanisi Barrett D’Arnuk
PUBLISHER: JMS Books LLC
RELEASE DATE: December 15, 2015

BLURB:
My new boss is the most perfect woman I’d ever seen. Wisdom dictates one doesn’t get involved with a colleague, but surely taking along a six-pack of her favorite beer when I deliver a report to her home after work won’t be misconstrued?
She invites me to stay for dinner. One thing leads to another, and we start doing things together outside the office. But as the weather cools and the holidays approach, she decides she wants to take our relationship to the next level. Do I?
REVIEW:
I didn’t pay much attention to the blurb when picking up this book to read to review. On doing so, it pretty much sums up this very short story. Anyone with half a clue will be able to figure out the answer to the question at the end of the blurb, prior to reading the story!
In short, our leading lady visits her boss, and one thing leads to another. We are privy to a couple of their dates and lovemaking. And many pages about how stunningly beautiful the heroine’s (can’t remember her name right now) boss is.
The story is devoid of any angst, emotional or otherwise and I’m not sure what the point of it was. People date and have sex all the time. I like a plot to have something, anything, to make it memorable. Sadly, this one missed the mark on that front for me.
The positive – it’s quick, to the point, and well edited.
