REVIEW:
I am always excited when I get to read a ménage book. The addition of the third person and how the interaction will work is always intriguing to me. This is the first one, however, that I have read that was FFM and I have to say, it literally surprised me on how erotic and fabulous it was. I have read FF before and it was quite good but this was fantastic. The author has a gift of bringing you into the story and painting a very vivid picture so that you feel as though you are right there with the characters. I was curious how she was going to take the story from a devoted and obviously loving married couple to a threesome. And, how that would play out.
She did not disappoint in her erotic tale of lust and curiosity on the part of the wife, Jen. I loved how it progressed and how “shy” they all were about their attractions and desires. Her husband, Brett, experienced what most men fantasize about, the chance to be with two women at once. Ms. Jay also was very good at making Brett be in awe and encouraging in their interaction with the beautiful red headed stranger, Kylie. His “reward”, with a very creative “pole dance”, was one of the hottest ménage scenes I have ever read!
Although I loved Jen and Brett, I believe that I enjoyed the character of Kylie even more. She was a strong, self confident woman who knew how to take charge of the opportunity that was put before them and while making everyone completely comfortable in experiencing something that they had only ever dreamt of. I know that sharing my husband in a situation like this would be extremely difficult to fathom but Kylie put all of Jen’s concerns and fears to rest in a very caring and thoughtful way. If a couple had ever dreamed of trying something like this, Kylie was the perfect person to experience it with. All three characters were good people with caring hearts and would have been easy to become friends with. That Jen and Brett were given this wonderful experience with Kylie was a true gift. I always need a HEA in my books and was not disappointed. The ending was perfect and added to the wonderfulness of this book. Ms. Jay really got the married dynamic with hidden fantasies and dealt with them in a mature and extremely sensitive manner.
I can not stress enough how wonderful this story was. I literally could not put it down and stayed up way past when I had planned to go to bed to finishing reading it because the story had gripped hold of me and wouldn’t let go. That is the sign of a very good book. This was my first time reading the author’s work and I can say with certainty that it won’t be my last.
This is a fabulous book that was a true treat to read! 5 very bright, shining stars!!!
