Shane Foster is a former Navy Seal on his way home to see his dying father. On his deathbed, Shane’s father makes his son promise to keep the generations old family inn from falling into the chasm of cookie cutter chain motels. With the rising cost of gas and the cost of living remaining stagnant, families aren’t vacationing as they were before. Business is declining and the family inn is in danger of becoming extinct. Enter Marco Jenkins, king of the cookie cutter chain motels and a threat to Shane’s heart and soul.
Marco Jenkins, Jenks as his close friends call him, is a man on a mission. He has built and owns some of the finest hotels on the East Coast and abroad, but needs the small beach front inn on the Virginia Coast to accomplish his latest and greatest goal. There is only one thing standing in his way, Shane Foster.
When these two strong minded men face off, sparks fly in more ways than one. But when an old love shows up and threatens more than the fragile relationship building between the two, will they be able to survive the aftermath or will it destroy both their worlds?
REVIEW:
I have been in need of a good, sexy, steamy story and have been breathlessly awaiting the arrival of Ava Snow’s newest release. Let me tell you…she did not disappoint me! This book was packed with two very sexy men and what it takes to get them to finally admit their desires for each other. And when they finally do, it’s well worth the wait.
These men, the former seal turned inn owner and gourmet chef Shane “Shay” Foster and the hotel mogul Marco “Jenks” Jenkins, are just what I needed. They are pure mouth-watering alpha male! I, for one, want to stay at the inn just so I could sample Shane’s cuisine, it sounded so yummy. The author did a fabulous job of not only developing and building the main characters, but the supporting character as well. I really loved Shane’s über protective best friend Tracy. She was just what you hope to have in your closest friend, a person who always has your back and wants only the best for you. Add in the two mother figures, Shane’s Mrs. Jones and Marco’s trusted personal assistant Kate, and you have the feeling of two men who are looked out for. I loved seeing Marco discover the green-eyed monster lurking inside of himself for the first time with Shane. It was so adorable to see jealously rear its head within him. I know that every great story needs a villain and we were not disappointed on that front either with Kevin, Shane’s evil ex. What I wanted to do to that disgusting man!
Paradise Inn had the perfect mix of intrigue, hot alpha men, sex, and a HEA. But…I am really hoping that the author decides to do a follow up book. I need more of these two men. They have wormed their way into my heart and now I want to see their adventure continue.
