REVIEW:
Tyler Martin is determined to make it home for Christmas this year if only the weather would cooperate! It just happened that there was a severe blizzard happening in Jersey so the Airport there is closed while he’s in Chicago ready to go. It’s while Tyler is sitting on the most uncomfortable plastic chair in the waiting room that he spies the teddy bear. The poor teddy looks so lost sitting in a chair on his that Tyler can’t resist taking a photo of him to post on Facebook. After sitting in the same place for several more hours and nobody claiming the bear Tyler decides to take him to lost and found to see if anyone has asked about him.
Aaron Klein is bored out of his mind. Being the night before Christmas Eve it’s very quiet and there’s not a lot to do except listen to complaints. Aaron’s on the phone to a lady looking for a teddy bear her young daughter left in the waiting room when he looks up and who should be sitting on his desk? The teddy bear! The woman is over the moon and requests that they be able to pick him up on their way back. When Aaron gets a look at the hot young man who bought the teddy bear up to him, wow, he’s hot! As Aaron is still on duty Tyler waits back in the waiting area for another couple of hours and when Aaron has finished work they get food. After eating Tyler decides to make a book for the young girl about the adventures her teddy bear has in the airport.
Tyler can’t stop thinking about Aaron while he’s at his parents’ house so he decides to send him a text. They decide to get together when Tyler gets back to town to see if the connection they felt is real or just convenience. It doesn’t take long before they realise the connection is real and they are both very interested in taking things just as far as they can!
Teddy Bear Christmas is a very sweet short story that makes you realise that you can meet your one and only anywhere, anytime. And sometimes all it takes is a lost teddy bear to break the ice. I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas.
