BOOK TWO TITLE: Will & Patrick Meet the Family
SERIES: Wake Up Married Episode 2
AUTHOR: Leta Blake & Alice Griffiths
PUBLISHER: Self Pub
LENGTH: 114 pages
BLURB:
Meeting the family is challenging for every new couple. But for Will and Patrick, the awkward family moments only grow more hilarious—and painful—when they must hide the truth of their predicament from the people they care about most.
Throw in the sexual tension flaring between them, uncomfortable run ins with Will’s all-too-recent ex-boyfriend, an overprotective mobster father, and a mafia spy tailing them around Healing, South Dakota, and you’ve got a recipe for madcap laughs and surprisingly heartwarming feels.
REVIEW:
This one damn near killed me. I probably say this constantly but I have never wanted two people to get together as much as I want Patrick and Will to get together. The heat between these two is just building and building and I’m pretty sure I may not survive it when it combusts.
In Episode 2 we find things pretty similar to how they ended in Episode 1. Things between Will & Patrick are still pretty contentious. Increasingly so when they add in the overwhelmingly abundant family of Will’s. Will’s mother makes things incredibly difficult with her immediate dislike, suspicion, and disbelief.
I did get really tired of Will’s lack of any type of self-confidence. It’s so obvious what kind of person he is in how he is with others, his charity, and his family but when someone tells him the worst thing imaginable, he believes it. Which is so frustrating.
This connection which was formed on alcohol and lust is proving to be pretty solid. I can’t wait to see what these two have in store for them in the subsequent episodes.
Overall, I’ve mentioned I’m a huge fan of serialized fiction. This one is no exception…it’s fantastic….GET IT!!!

BOOK THREE TITLE: Will & Patrick Do the Holiday’s
SERIES: Wake Up Married Episode 3
AUTHORS: Leta Blake & Alice Griffiths
PUBLISHERS: Self Pub
LENGTH: 117 pages
BLURB:
A couple’s first holiday season is always a special time. Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve are magical when you’re in love. Too bad Will and Patrick’s marriage is a sham and they’re only faking their affection for each other. Or are they?
Sparks fly in this episode of the Wake Up Married serial. Will the sexual tension between Will and Patrick finally explode in a needy night of passion? Or will they continue to deny their feelings?
REVIEW:
Ok, no surprise here but this was my FAVORITE, so far!!! I won’t spoil it and tell you why but let’s just say it gave me all kinds of feels…well, everywhere!!!
In this Episode, we are still force fed Will’s crazy mother. She is incredibly annoying and seems to just be getting more and more so. Ryan is a bit all over the place in this one. But it’s pretty obvious he has some serious mental issues so that is no surprise there.
I loved the addition of Will’s siblings in this Episode. They were just precious and Patrick was pretty perfect with them. There were so many things that melted me in this episode, especially where it concerned Patrick. He really stole this part with his patience, understanding, humor, and passion. Will still struggles greatly with his confidence and self-worth. He still allows infectious, hateful people to hurt him and it’s getting more annoying.
But Patrick….PATRICK….can I just say how much I friggin LOVE LOVE Patrick!?!?!?!
At this midway point I can say my attention has not waivered and I’m still very much eager to see this through to the end. These writers are working some serious magic together.
Recommend everything I’ve read so far…
