BLURB:
Roy has a crush on Steve, so when a work-related ski weekend is offered, Roy jumps at the chance to finally lay a trap for his hunky coworker. An abandoned cabin nearby is perfect for his scheme, and Roy stocks it with champagne, rubbers, and lube. But fate intervenes, and it’s not Steve, but Ranger Josh, who ends up trapped in the cabin with Roy during an avalanche. Roy’s plan might be ruined, but there’s still a chance for a very happy New Year indeed.
REVIEW:
This is the second book, or in this case Advent Novella, that I have reviewed in the last week or so by Rob Rosen. I have found that I enjoy his writing style and his development of the personalities of his fun, and sometimes quirky, characters.
This was a very quick easy read that I found that I did enjoy. It put me in the Holiday spirit with a fun-filled romp in the snow. The author did a pretty good job of pulling me in to the story and wanting the characters to experience more than a quick “roll in the hay”. Even though I had originally wanted to get to know Steve, the object of Roy’s lust-filled (and underpants sniffing…don’t ask!) obsession, I was immediately drawn to Ranger Josh and was cheering for him to “get his man”! This novella was a surprising treat because I typically am not a fan of novellas or short stories that I don’t already know the characters. A cute holiday story that was a fun and an enjoyable gift to open up my holidays!

It does sound like fun!
This looks like a quick, fun and easy read that is perfect for in between longer novels. And perfect for reading by the Christmas tree 🙂
