Title: Eyes Only for Me
Author: Andrew Grey
Genre: M/M Contemporary
Publisher: Dreamspinner Press
Blurb:
For years, Clay Potter’s been friends and workout partners with Ronnie. Though Clay is attracted, he’s never come on to Ronnie because, let’s face it, Ronnie only dates women.
When Clay’s father suffers a heart attack, Ronnie, having recently lost his dad, springs into action, driving Clay to the hospital over a hundred miles away. To stay close to Clay’s father, the men share a hotel room near the hospital, but after an emotional day, one thing leads to another, and straight-as-an-arrow Ronnie make a proposal that knocks Clay’s socks off! Just a little something to take the edge off.
Clayton responds in a way he’s never considered. After an amazing night together, Clay expects Ronnie to ignore what happened between them and go back to his old life. Ronnie surprises him and seems interested in additional exploration. Though they’re friends, Clay suddenly finds it hard to accept the new Ronnie. Maybe they both have a thing or two to learn.

How to Write a Compelling Book Description
This is a hard question and I have to say that I’m completely terrible at it. I provide some basic story information and the wonderful people at Dreamspinner write the descriptions for me. Once they draft it, then I review it and we work together to finalize the blurb. This is one of the things I know I am awful at (like typing). There are some things I do know. You should say something about each main character, how, they meet, and give a hint as to the obstacles they face. After that it’s about building interest.
When it comes to blurbs, the one thing I have found is that if it speaks to me, then hopefully it will speak to the readers and don’t stop until you have a blurb that you are completely happy with.
The water shut off and then the bathroom door opened. Ronnie strode out with a towel wrapped around his narrow waist. I had seen Ronnie naked many times because he was shameless as hell, and that shone through tonight, because he pulled the towel away, tossed it into the bathroom, and slid into the other bed. I honestly tried not to look, but I watched each and every movement.
I slid off the bed and took my turn in the shower, trying not to think of Ronnie naked just outside the bathroom door. It was impossible. I wished I’d brought clean clothes in with me, but I ended up leaving wrapped in a towel. Thankfully the room was dark, so I dropped the towel next to my bed and climbed in. I tried going to sleep, but I knew Ronnie was in the next bed, naked, and my mind began conjuring up scenarios that I shouldn’t have been thinking.
“Clay,” Ronnie said from the other bed.
“Yeah,” I said warily.
“You know…,” he started suggestively, and I had a very strong suspicion where this was going.
“Ronnie, you and Cherie were going at it yesterday. Remember?” The man was a horndog of the highest degree.
“Yeah, but the bird is awake and raring to go.”
“Ronnie, you’re straight,” I told him, even as my heart rate sped up slightly.
“Yeah, but you could come over here and suck me off. It’s dark, and I’m sure you know what you’re doing.” Ronnie’s voice was low, and it didn’t take much of my imaginative energy to realize what Ronnie was doing in the other bed.
I rolled onto my side, barely able to see Ronnie’s outline in the other bed. “Jesus,” I groaned under my breath. I could easily jump into his bed and get right down to it, blow Ronnie’s mind, and then go back to bed. But I valued myself more than that, and I knew if I started, I wouldn’t be able to finish with that. It was best if I just rolled over and pretended I hadn’t heard anything.
“You’ve seen what I have, and I know you like it.”
That was about as unsexy a thought as I could possibly imagine. “You sound like really bad porn, you know that?” I forced a laugh to try to diffuse the energy that crackled in the room.
“Isn’t that what you guys like?” he wisecracked.
“No. Actually it isn’t. I’m not into anything bad.” I sat up. My eyes had adjusted enough that I could see his hand slowly sliding up and down. Holy fuck! It had been way too long since I’d had sex, and dammit all to hell, I couldn’t look away. I dramatically threw back the covers and sat on the edge of my bed before shifting over to Ronnie’s. “You know,” I whispered, leaning close enough that I was sure he could hear me, “over the years you’ve told me a lot of things I doubt you intended to.”
“Oh yeah?”
“Uh-huh. I remember what you said Maggie used to do so you could come.”
“The medication I take interferes with—”
“Maybe,” I said as I leaned closer. “Maybe it was just what you liked. Maybe it wasn’t a finger you were wishing was deep inside you, touching that spot.” I watched as Ronnie stopped the slow stroking. “Maybe what you wanted was the real thing. Because you don’t know much about me when it comes to what I like in the bedroom.”
“I assume you like to get fucked.”
I reached across and slid my hand over Ronnie’s chest, slowly plucking a nipple. I heard his breath hitch and then a moan built in his throat. “I don’t, Ronnie. Not particularly. What I like is to be the one doing the fucking.” God. I clamped my eyes closed. I couldn’t believe I was saying all this right now. This entire situation was fucked up beyond belief. “Is that what you want?”
“Ummm….”
“That’s what I’m offering. I’ll take you to the moon and back.” I slid my hand down his belly and then along his hip. Ronnie quivered under my touch. Damn, it was so hot, and I prayed he didn’t ask me to stop. “Your head will spin, and your eyes will roll to the back of your head.”
“Fucking hell,” Ronnie breathed, and I slowly climbed onto the bed, sliding my hands gently up Ronnie’s ankles and calves.
“Is that what you want?”
“I….” Indecision was clear in his voice.
