AUTHOR: John Wiltshire

LENGTH: 288 pages
BLURB:
You’d have thought that Ben and Nikolas would have learnt that their romantic holidays inevitably end up as disasters. A short break on the polar ice sees them trapped in a nightmare of murder and deceit. Neither of them, however, foresees the long-term impact that endless winter has on their relationship. They return with a metaphorical darkness that threatens everything they have created together. Desperate and fearing for Nikolas’s life, Ben makes a bargain with a surprising ally. For the first time, Nikolas meets an enemy more powerful than he is. But fortunately, not as sneaky…
REVIEW:
“He was Nikolas’s freedom. Possibly the first and only time Nikolas had found someone to be entirely himself with, and he’d found it deep inside Ben’s body.”
Intense, passionate, powerful, moving, angry, violent, startling, evocative, and beautiful…these words and more describe Nikolas and Ben so perfectly. Their relationship and the life they’ve built together are so beautifully intense it’s hard to catch your breath. There’s nothing that I do not love about this series and this author. Some would say, “How can these crazy things keep happening to these men?” “It’s just not believable anymore…” so on and so forth. But I absolutely disagree. This author spins these tales to where I find them incredibly believable and I find the love these men have for one another believable. I love when there is another book in this series because they’re so addictive. This author writes the full package…amazing main characters that you root for, awesome side characters that you want to know more about, these landscapes that are describe leave you speechless and these wonderfully developed plots that suck you in and don’t let you go until it’s wrung every emotion out of your body. I couldn’t possibly adore these books any more than I already do.
In book 7, Enduring Night, Ben and Nikolas find themselves happily surrounded by family and enjoying calm domesticity. That doesn’t last however when they decide to take a trip to the Arctic that will serve a dual purpose. What starts out as a romantic albeit boring getaway quickly turns dangerous and deadly.
Unfortunately the life or death decisions that were made on their vacation have gut wrenching consequences when Ben and Nikolas get back home. Knowing and feeling what these two mean to each other while having to read the aftermath of the death defying vacation hurt my heart so much, the yearning was palpable. I wanted and needed with them.
Needless to say with Ben and Nik they bring sex to a whole other level. To say these men are “HOT” together really doesn’t do them justice. There are no words to describe Ben and Nik together. It’s out of this world…they are out of this world.
I’ll leave you with this…this book is ridiculously good! This series is exceptional! It’s not a standalone though…so get book 1 and start today….HIGHLY RECOMMEND entire series!!!
