Trapped in a small town life, Mary-Beth always knew there was something better out there. Then Jo rides into town and walks straight into the diner where she works. Sexy, dominant, and self-assured, Jo is everything Mary-Beth wishes she could be. Their hot, intense meeting crashes through Mary-Beth’s small world and offers her the promise of a new start.
Will Mary-Beth leave everything behind and ride with Jo towards the chance of a new life?
REVIEW:
This story is told in first person, present tense, something I have been known to struggle with when reading, but the author pulled it off relatively well.
I learned a lot about the main character in a relatively short time, given the story is told entirely from her POV. I really liked her and felt for her predicament. I guess I was more understanding of her actions because of that. As they say desperate times call for desperate measures.
The sex scenes were scorching hot! Melt your panties off hot! I’ve been known to cry foul when strap-on toys feature in FF erotica, and while one made an appearance in this story, I didn’t mind one single bit as it enhanced the ‘scene’ rather than being the scene… if that makes sense. I actually had a more difficult time trying to understand why a biker would travel cross country with such an item in her arsenal, lol.
I’m not a fan of overnight insta-love, however as per above I understood Mary-Beth’s actions. Jo was sex on legs, and her ticket out of town and the shithole that had become Mary-Beth’s life, but I couldn’t for the life of me figure out Jo’s motivations. I suppose that is something that is left for the reader to surmise.
