REVIEW:
I have a serious love/obsession/addiction/rabid need for any and all Motorcycle Club M/M romance. I’ve always loved them. And I’m happy to announce that The Darkest Flame did not disappoint. Usually, I get fascinated with Mortorcycle Club culture in general but with this one I was enraptured with the couple. Smoke and Vaughn are so incredibly hot together. Their chemistry is off the charts. They had this unbelievable, smoldering tension that was intoxicating.
Vaughn runs The Hogs Den, a biker bar. Taking care of his disabled father and running his bar are Vaughn’s life. He isn’t prepared for the intense attraction he feels for the Disciples of the Road Motorcycle Club recruit, Smoke. Smoke is a mystery. A mystery that is incredibly hot and unmistakably off limits.
Smoke owes everything he has to the Disciples MC. Clean and sober for over 2 years all he wants is to serve the MC and maintain his sobriety. What he doesn’t need or want is the undeniable attraction he feels for the man that runs The Hogs Den.
Forced together, working in very close proximity blows the top off of their plan to avoid one another. What starts as a one-off ends in both men feeling a connection to the other. Like I said before the chemistry alone is ridiculous…when they actually get together I felt the sheets smolder. That’s how amazing these two are together.
I like that this MC book wasn’t really into the illegal side of MC culture. I liked that this one was more on the straight and narrow. I think that’s a unique aspect to MC culture. There’s lots of goodness in this book…two hot men with a crazy attraction, MC loyalties, drama, crazy ex, hot sex, angst, and a whole lot of YESSSSSSS!!!
What a great start to a series…can’t wait for more!! Absolutely recommend!!!
