REVIEW:
Scott Tate has loved his twin brother Sawyer in what he considers “the wrong way” for most of his life. He moved to the other side of the country to escape the attraction, leaving the unaware Sawyer to live his happily ever after with his new wife. But now Sawyer has turned up at Scott’s apartment, mid divorce, needing somewhere to crash for a while. How can Scott possibly turn his twin away, even if Sawyer is totally lacking in personal boundaries?
This is my second Liberty Lace story, and even though I didn’t love it like crazy, the way I did the first book, I still definitely enjoyed this little romance. Once again the author sticks to the sweeter side of taboo tales while managing to include some raunchiness. Which is the perfect combination as far as I’m concerned. While I like them sweet, you can’t deny that the whole point of this type of story is the “naughtiness” of the sex, right?
I think The Hush-Hush Crush (which is a great title btw) was just a little too short for the story it was telling. I felt I needed to know more about why Sawyer married his wife in the first place, why both Scott and Sawyer finally decided to do something about their feelings and what was going to happen in their lives next. How is everybody going to react, because they’re not exactly keeping it a secret and I’m pretty sure incest is illegal, isn’t it? But hey, I’m the first to admit that I tend to over analyze things.
If you’re looking for a sweet yet sexy story to pass an hour or so, then this is definitely a worthwhile read.
