REVIEW:
I have to say that I still get excited when a part of either Campus Cravings or Cattle Valley is being published. I love both series. Yes I definitely hve my preferences in the books but overal they are comfort read for me , I read them in one go and they never dissapoint me.
Miss Lynne shows she still has the feeling for this series with this new part even there where it says part 20 it still has refreshing new things and a different story to tell.
We meet Benny who came to the campus to win back his highshool sweetheart Chase who is now with Mac ( as we could have read before ). And we meet Jamie who after coming out to his senator father comes back to campus and needs a place to live and is changign majors even.
When both man meet there is instant firework , where Benny is very clear of his intentions and Jaime just feels attraction and just want to let go they hit it of in a big way. Their connection is hot and sexy and I thoroughly enjoyed them being together . There is something that pulls you in wanting to see where it will go . Jamie has some privacy as he is living in a cottage on the estate of Tony and Daniel who we also know from an earlier story and it is easy for the boys to have some time together.
Besides the presence of Chase in Benny his mind Jamie fights his own battle with the media and the reputation of his homophobic father.
When it is time to step up to the plate it comes down to what Benny wants and what Jamie allows .
The only regret that I have with these stories that they seem so short , there is always room for a bit more .
Considering it is part 20 it is good to know that this story stand on it’s own , there is some mention of former characters but not significant for the story besides in a friendly mather.
Miss Lynn her style of writing and her way in handling these series , like her cattle valley still seases to surprise me after so many parts , it is easy comfortable and a pleasure to read through.
For me I am already interested in a new part in what ever series Miss Lynn adresses next .
