REVIEW:
I am seriously in love with this book. It’s been a while since I’ve read something that I was truly excited about. However, Caged kept me going from beginning to end, and I’ll definitely be adding it to my favorites list. The story begins shortly before John, a timid young man who suffers from severe headaches, is captured by a band of pirates. Though it appears at first that John may be in for some trouble, he learns that the pirates mean him no harm and instead want him to join their crew. Since John has a talent for reading people, he knows that Captain Baltsoro is a dangerous man, but his danger is alluring and draws John in. Although the Captain Baltsoro seems to want John as well, the captain makes no attempt to hide his sexual relationship with his first mate. As the story progresses, the crew gets thrown into one dangerous situation after another and the love triangle between John, the captain, and the first mate becomes tangled, mangled and complicated beyond repair. Despite all the drama and heartbreak, the book has a happy and beautiful ending.
First of all, I’d like to say that Caged is deliciously dark and definitely my type of book. In addition to the ménage, rough sex, and BDSM, these pirates do not hold back when it comes to violence and debauchery. Despite their vices, the characters have so much depth that it was impossible not to like them. The main storyline is an erotic romance and love triangle riddled with jealousy, back stabbing, and emotional roadblocks. I really loved watching John grow from a soft spoken boy, to a man that is not afraid to stand up to the older and somewhat frightening captain. On the flip side, I enjoyed seeing Captain Baltsoro let down his guard and fall into John’s arms. These moments of utter abandon on the captain’s part were intensely erotic but also moving and emotional.
Since this is the first book in a series, I most certainly will be continuing the adventure. I recommend Caged to anyone who loves the darker side of M/M as well as to enthusiasts of M/M erotic fantasy.

I loved this book also. It’s hard to find a book that can occupy me for days instead of merely a few hours. I was hooked within the first few chapters.
I absolutely LOVED this series!!
