TITLE: About A Dragon
AUTHOR: A.J. Llewellyn
PUBLISHER: Amber Quill Press
LENGTH: 86 pages
BLURB:
TV writer Teddy Greist thinks he’s met the perfect guy. The man with the unusual name of Song Smith is so wonderful, Teddy couldn’t have written him better. He’s sexy, soulful, full of ambition, and—oh, no, Teddy soon realizes—just a little bit crazy.
Just as Teddy’s getting comfortable with the idea of being in love and having his hit show Oahu P.D. on the air at the same time, Song suddenly confesses to some weird family curse, then dumps Teddy faster than a bowl of soggy chicken dumplings.
Song is wild about Teddy, who’s changing his life in so many ways. But will Teddy still love him in return when he learns just how demented Song’s family really is? Can their budding romance survive the twisted tale of his father’s disappearance? And what will Teddy say when it becomes all too clear it has a lot to do with strings, sealing wax, and other fancy stuff?
Oh, and one more thing—it’s all about a dragon, too.
REVIEW:
Teddy Greist is in love with the wonderful and sexy Song Smith, yes that is his name!
Teddy and Song have been together for two months now and things are just getting better. Everything would be perfect except for the fact that Teddy’s boss is stealing his ideas for future episodes of hit show Oahu P.D. and Song’s boss is busy training someone else to take over his job!
When Teddy’s idea of doing the Dragon-Boat Day for an episode is accepted he’s surprised by Songs reaction when he tells him about it. Song can’t believe he now only has weeks to tell Teddy about his family as he’s afraid he’ll do what every other man has done when told, run! Not only does he have to tell Teddy about his crazy family he has to tell him about the dragon. Song gets cold feet and decides he just can’t do it so he dumps Teddy and runs away, the only problem is, he loves Teddy too much to stay away. Besides that, Teddy has organised a job for Song with the costume designer on his show because he knows Song’s dream is to work in television. When he returns and explains things he realises how open minded Teddy really is, he’s willing to listen and he doesn’t run away when he’s told the legend of the dragon!
All in all, About A Dragon is a very sweet fantastical story with some red hot sex scenes! It’s a definite feel-good story, it has a little bit of everything, angst, love, secrecy and fantasy. Oh, you can’t forget about the dragon!! This is one book I would definitely recommend to all m/m, fantasy and erotic romance lovers who need a lift.
