Tricking Chase Blurb:
As Sergeant At Arms for Devils Pride MC, Tyler “Trick” Malone’s take no prisoners reputation make him one of the most feared and respected members of the club. Unbeknownst to the MC, Trick indulges his most dangerous secret, traveling out of state twice a year to trade his cut for the whip he expertly wields at a gay dungeon.
Trick’s well organized life takes a turn when he saves bar back, and terrified submissive, Chase Ward in a Georgia dungeon. With his protector and dungeon owner dead, Chase is no longer safe in the place he once called home. With the new dungeon owners circling like sharks, he desperately begs for sanctuary in the arms of his savior.
A year later, the MC is still none the wiser that Trick’s houseboy is anything more than a grateful servant. Chase knows, if the club finds out their secret, they will kill Trick—the man he’s come to rely on for everything from the food he eats to the pleasure he feels to the security he craves. Even when gratitude turns to love, Chase never expects reciprocation from his ruthless Master. After all, the only way for them to survive is if Trick remains the heartless bastard the MC knows.
Trick is positive he has it under control and having Chase around has definitely made his life easier. There doesn’t seem to be any harm in letting Chase take a part-time job at Velvet Ropes, especially after meeting privately with the owners. That is until a bomb explodes at the club, leaving Chase fighting for his life and forcing Trick to face his long hidden feelings.
Even if Chase survives, that bomb has done more than rock the foundation of the popular leather club. It’s blown Trick and Chase’s well-guarded secret out of hiding, putting their lifestyle and their lives at risk. Now there is only one thing Trick needs to do before the club gets them and that’s to get revenge on the person who dared to hurt his precious boy.
Authors Note: Tricking Chase is a direct spin-off of The Protector, which is book 3 in my Sizzling Miami series. Though I tried to provide enough details that it isn’t necessary to have read that book, I cannot really call this a standalone.
Warning: Tricking Chase contains an established D/s relationship, hot guys on motorcycles, an undercover DEA agent named Snake, and a few visits from fan favorite Sizzling Miami characters.

First, I want to thank Dani from Love Bytes Reviews for hosting Tricking Chase and the guys from the Sizzling Miami series today. It’s been just over a year since I published my first book, Past Hurts, and the ride has been amazing. I like to think I’m getting better with each book and I couldn’t have done that without feedback from my fabulous readers. Those invested in the series find me on social media or email me directly to tell me that my guys make them feel—be it happy, sad, angry or loving—I like to run the whole gambit. Nothing makes me happier as a writer than having someone say “oh, he made me so angry!” or “I think I fell in love with him a little more.” That tells me the feelings I was trying to convey came through. I may not always write in the direction they want me to go, or as fast as they wish I would, but I believe we all walk away with a happy ending.
I think the hardest part about writing a continuing series (now two series), is keeping all the characters, facts, and little details straight. Readers have an eagle eye for that, so everything from hair and eye color, to first kiss, to pet peeve all has to stay consistent. Mannerism and voice cannot suddenly change no matter how far a character grows in the series. It’s a crazy dance when I put them all in the same chapter for some big meeting and need to go from the sophisticated Alaric to the bad boy Ty, and keep them true to themselves.
Today I’m bringing you my latest release, and the start of a new series, Tricking Chase. A bit of MM Biker BDSM that I’m so proud of. If you’ve read The Protector, then you’ve already been introduced to Master Ty and his very devoted boy, Chase. If you haven’t, I do suggest starting there so you can get the crossing story arc from both perspectives. While Tricking Chase contains an established D/s relationship, I approached it from a more emotional perspective and have been told by several readers who don’t normally go for that genre that they absolutely loved Ty and Chase together. It’s my hope that you’ll take a risk on my interpretation of both the BDSM lifestyle and the biker lifestyle. It’s not all pain and mayhem, I promise.
Again, thank you to Love Bytes for hosting me, and to all of you who stopped by to spend a few minutes with me. I’ll be checking the comments, so if anyone has any questions about the book or either series, please ask and I’ll be back to answer.

A slow, measured breath filled his lungs and Chase held it for a moment before releasing it softly. The smooth supple leather of the padded table complemented the cuffs that bound him, ankle and foot, to its surface. Warmed from his body heat, the leather softened, cushioning him while holding him captive to his Master’s whims. Whims he was grateful to be a captive of.
With his morning routine shot to shit and the reasons why wearing him down, Chase hadn’t been able to fight the panic that raged when his routines went too far off track. It made him feel weak, disappointed in himself, and positive that Master would be equally as disappointed in him. If not more so. It was irrational, but as the minutes ticked by, the voice that told him just how irrational it was faded to a faint whisper.
Now that seemed like a lifetime ago instead of a few hours. Master had taken him from the brink of what could have been one of the worst panic attacks of his life simply by telling him to unzip his pants. Right there in the Bennett parking lot, his body vibrating so badly his teeth hurt, Master looked at him in that soul deep way that never failed to reach past all his bullshit and find the heart of him. Over the next two plus hours, his own cock in hand, Chase listened as Master explained in slow and graphic detail what he planned to do when they got home. The deep rumble of his Master’s voice and the dirty promises of pain and pleasure, all conspired to push him over the edge. Gone were thoughts of floors needing to be swept, laundry needing to be folded or dinner needing to be prepared. The world around them narrowed to the space within the car, barreling down the highway, and Master’s voice drawing him deeper into that place where only they existed. Every word was a whisper across his flesh, every sensation heightened, until he was completely submerged in feeling.
The deceptively soft ends of the flogger caressed his spine, not in warning, but in promise. It was a lover’s caress, an extension of his Master’s hand, promising pleasure only he could deliver. The air stirred, teasing, just before the leather licked across his backside. The sensation radiated out, a heady zing, a spreading warmth, reaching every extremity, filling his heart and cock to near bursting. Master paused as he always did, watching him process, ensuring that his mind was in the right space. Master’s space.
“Wearer of Many Hats” is a title that was given to Jessie by a former employer some twenty years ago. This dubious distinction, along with the job description “everything is her fault”, came after she fixed an electrical problem—during her interview—that the office had been having for years. After that, if anything went wrong, her coworkers immediately declared it her fault so she’d have to fix it. This position of importance inspired the owner to convert a closet into an office, thereby providing her coworkers endless opportunities to refer to her as “the girl in the closet.”
Today she is still the “Wearer of Many Hats” and her family has readily jumped on the “everything is her fault” bandwagon. Most mornings start at 5am, where she stumbles into her home office (which is step or two up from a closet) to tackle her personal email, watch gay porn and satisfy her Trivia Crack addiction. By six, she’s caffeinated and ready to take on the world. Wearing her favorite red power nightgown, she expertly designs websites, provides SEO and social media services, freelances as a bookkeeper, cooks, cleans and writes.
Writing has been the elusive, life-long goal that seemed to be getting further away as the years went by. It took 30+ years to achieve, but she’s decided that timing is everything. The world wasn’t ready for m/m romance back then, and now that it is, the girl in the closet has finally found her writing home.
Jessie is a firm believer in marriage equality, love at first sight, power dynamics and happily ever after. She’s a lover of strong secondary characters and series filled with families, biological or chosen. All are themes you’ll find throughout her books.
