Christopher is devastated when, shortly after his breakup with the worst boyfriend ever, his dog vanishes without a trace. Doyle Schilbrack was lucky at love, until his wonderful partner of many years passed away, leaving Doyle lost and lonely. The solution? He adopts a sad little abandoned dog, a dog he names Jack. Together, man and dog come back to life. Then one day, a year later, Christopher encounters Doyle in a park—walking his dog! Now the two men are faced with a dilemma. They want to do what is best for their dog, but it will break their hearts to let him go. But then a rambunctious white Pomeranian takes matters in his own paws. There might be a way for both men to keep the dog, and find something else that’s been missing from their lives. A story from the Dreamspinner Press 2015 Daily Dose package “Never Too Late.”
REVIEW:
Christopher has just had his heart broken by the jackass ex-boyfriend that he thought he was in love with. Then he comes home to find that the real love of his life, the only male he truly loves and gets love back from, his dog Frost, is missing. He is just devastated.
Doyle is dealing with the loss of the love of his life, his life partner for over 20 years and is lonely and decides to adopt a dog, naming him Jack.
Doyle eventually decides he is unable to deal with living in the house he and his partner lived in and moves to a smaller town with Jack. Which just happens to be the same town that Christopher lives in. While Christopher is walking in the park he notices this little white dog in the distance with a very handsome owner and approaches them to discover Frost is alive and has a new owner, Doyle and a new name, Jack.
I don’t know what to say or where to start with Until I Found You, because I truly enjoyed it so much. I felt Christopher’s sadness when he lost Frost, and then his mix of emotions when he found him again but on the end of a leash of a new handsome owner. Doyle’s reaction to Christopher was so sweet, but at the same time guarded, because Jack is his. The attraction Doyle and Christopher feel for each other is instant but neither one of them do anything about it. Mostly because of the age difference for Christopher, and Doyle questions if it has been long enough to mourn his loss.
The way B. G. Thomas wrote his characters and the events they go through keep you turning the pages wanting more, and you can easily lose yourself in the world he has written. If you’re looking for a cute story with heart I would check this one out and let B.G. Thomas take you for a ride.

A sense a slight case of serendipity and fate for those two, with a little dog finally connecting two people who are meant to be together 🙂 Love the cover as well.
