I have just written 7 blog posts for my new release Retrograde, before that 8 for The Summer House. That was okay because they were at least linked to the books themselves. Retrograde was a series of posts linked by the moments that changed my life. The Summer House tour was all about the places in the Cotswolds on which I based my scenes in the book.
On my own blog I can blog fairly easily. I am always full of ideas for new stories, and can share cover art, blurbs, reviews and news… the possibilities are endless. But, I regularly write for both Prism Book Alliance and also this wonderful blog. And sometimes I can stare at the document and have absolutely no idea what to say.
So, I went out on to the T’interwebs, and typed in *blog ideas for authors*. There are a lot of ideas out there. From how I spend my day, to how I get my inspiration, but none of them grabbed me this time. I decided what I wanted to blog about this time was the very thing we all have in common – a love for gorgeous sexy men.
Every single one of my heroes has stunning eyes, I can’t help writing them that way – I love looking at men’s eyes. And I don’t mean just colour, but eyes that reflect emotions and expression. A lot of communication can be written just with a casual sideways glance, or by staring direct into another’s eyes while they make love.
I may not be writing a lot in this post, but no one can say no to some *eye* candy… What do you think?
Flight 1710 #1: Retrograde
Co-Pilot Lachlan Donaghue wakes up in hospital, a survivor of the crash of Flight HA1710, with memory loss and the suspicion that he could be at fault for the tragic accident. When everything becomes too much he goes home to hide, back to the small Scottish town he grew up in and to his family home.
Rory Kendrick watches the news, sees every hour of the disaster unfold but never thinks that Lachlan was in the middle of it all. Or that his friend will be forced to come back home to hide and to heal. What Lachlan needs is a friend, not a lover, but sometimes the lines are just too blurred to make any sense.

The eyes in the pictures are certainly very beautiful I like the blue eyes the best.
