“How do you know it’s the same dude?”
Theo rolled his eyes. “The man isn’t exactly a genius. After I sucked him off, I stayed on my knees and watched him through the hole. I was hoping he would reciprocate, you know, return the favor.”
“Yeah?”
“Anyway, he pulled up his pants, then pulled out a ski mask and put it on. I wondered what he was doing so when he left the booth I opened the door a crack. He went right to the cashier, aimed a gun at her and demanded the money.”
I paused to make sure I understood I was getting the story straight. I’d dealt with a lot of stupid criminals, but this had to take the cake.
“Let me get this straight,” I said. “You blew him, he came in your mouth and on your shirt. Then he put on a mask and held up the place.”
“That’s pretty much it.” He leaned forward. “Could anybody really be that dumb?”
A chuckle escaped my lips and Theo smiled as well. “You’d be surprised. One time I handled a kidnapping where the crook used his own bank deposit slip as a ransom note.”
“No way!”
“True story.”
“I’ll do whatever you need me to in order to catch this guy, but I’d really like it if my wife didn’t have to find out. However, I’ll testify if you need me to.”
“Most men would refuse to do the right thing if it cost them personally,” I noted.
He shrugged. “I’m a lawyer. I have a strong sense of justice.”
“You’re a good man.” Except for cheating on his wife, I wanted to add, but didn’t.
“You’d be able to identify this man, correct? You got a fairly good look at his face?”
“It was dark, but I could see him.”
I noticed the video equipment on the desk. When I’d used the glory hole I seen surveillance cameras and wondered what exactly they covered. At the time my desires were too strong to really care. I stood, opened the door and waved Brunson over.
“Is that the manager?” I asked, pointing toward the guy in the suit.
“Ephraim Goff,” Brunson answered, nodding.
“Find out what their cameras cover.”
A moment later, Goff and Brunson were back in the office and Godd clicked on the TV. “We have cameras at the entrance, the hallway down by the booths and various locations throughout the store.” He ran through some footage showing the Genovese enter the last booth on the left, then thirty minutes later a guy went into to the second to the last booth. It only caught him from behind and when he exited ten minutes later the mask was on.
“What about the front door camera?” Brunson asked.
Goff found the correct time, but the guy bowed his head as he walked in.
“He was avoiding the cameras,” I said.
I examined Goff, he was chewing his bottom lip so hard I was surprised he hadn’t drawn blood. The man was hiding something.
“Show us the other footage, Mr. Goff,” I ordered. “The stuff you’re not supposed to record.”

Ethan Stone is an out and proud gay man. Which is fairly new in his life, the out part, not the gay part. He’s been queer his whole life, though he tried to deny it for years with a wonderful woman. The years in denial weren’t all bad, he has two amazing kids out of it. His son is a teenager and his daughter has made him a grandfather, three times over. A way too young grandfather.
Ethan has returned to Oregon after almost a decade in Nevada. He no longer has a day job and is doing his best to make a living at this writing thing. If he can’t make a living, he at least wants to support his Mt. Dew and beef jerky addictions.

Now i’m curious, i want to find out what’s on the other footage LOL. Great story look forward to reading the next update. Thanks for the giveaway’s
I think the manager had a lot of fun with the other footage that he took. I can’t wait for the next installment.
Now that is a hard question to answer. Thank you for the giveaway.
I like my men in briefs!!!.
Funniest question I’ve seen in a while. I think whatever people are comfortable with is the best. 🙂 Congrats on the release.
I like men in boxer briefs.
It seems very strange and not very wise that the holdup man was not afraid to leave DNA evidence, that Theo probably saw him, then he put on a mask to raid the shop? It may seem obvious, but there is probably more to this and we will just have to wait until we read the next extracts. Thank you for the giveaway/
Congrats Sula!
