Police officer Milo and Fireman Daniel have been dating off and on for six years, but it always seems more off than on. Just when their relationship reaches breaking point, someone enters their lives, unknowingly helping the confused couple work through their differences. Falling in love with the man Daniel rescued and who Milo is investigating as a potential arson suspect isn’t a conventional start to any relationship, especially one which includes a mysterious blond who’s afraid to stop running. But they both see what didn’t work out as a couple, could work out as a ménage. Daniel and Milo unite to help save Samuel, but quickly realise he’s not the only one being saved. With so many obstacles in their way threatening to destroy the future they desire, all three have to fight to create a bond too strong for anyone or anything to break. Meet the first three men in my Manchester Ménage Collection.

Do you find reaction to ménage stories to be mostly positive?
I did have a few concerned moments from readers when a couple from my Hidden Series moved onto a ménage because people weren’t convinced it was right for them. Thankfully I won them around and all the feedback I got was positive.
I always want all my men to feel comfortable and secure with how things are going in the ménage and I never leave anyone out. Yes, there are moments in their relationship as things settle down which need to be address and worked out together, but all three are on the same level and all loved equally. I see them all being soulmates, there’s just three not two.
I try hard to not encourage jealous or resentful emotions in my books because that’s one thing which can bug me if I’m reading one. Sometimes you can mistrust a character, or feel overly protective toward another, but throughout the book you gain trust and love, just like the men in them do. You can’t just fall into that kind of trust, it had to be earned. Trust is the big thing in my world, without it nothing else happens. Trust and love go hand in hand for me. One without the other doesn’t work.
Is it hard for you to juggle multiple men at once?
I don’t find it any different from your average relationship with two people. I’ve had far more dramas with two men than with these three. It depends on the individual I’m writing with at the time. The men in Saving Samuel were pretty chilled out and calm about things, and because of that, I felt the same way.
I juggle more men than three in my head most of the time because I write about three books at the same time and I live with them all in my head, waiting to hear who shouts the loudest so I can write it down.
I’ve grown used to living with the many voices in my head lol It seems normal to have them now, and if they go quiet, that’s when I worry because I know they’re cooking up something, major.
What’s your favorite part about writing a ménage?
Developing the relationship and seeing them work out how a ménage will work for them as individuals. Travelling with them through the early stages and seeing them settling down and beginning their journey. I never like to call endings, I like to think of every ending as a beginning, because we may stop reading at that point, but they continue on with their lives and we can all imagine what they get up to.
What part is your least favorite?
I guess I would say making sure you know who is where lol That goes for sexual positions and conversations 😀 You get used to thinking in a certain way so using more names and descriptions happens in my ménages. I wrote my first one 1st person present tense, and Samuel is in third past, I thought the third person would be easier, but really I didn’t find them that different. It’s just how you go about writing them which can make your life hard or easy. Sometimes I don’t spot I’ve not mentioned who’s talking to who, I had three really good betas read Samuel looking for things like that.
And can you share a bit about what’s coming up for Nicole Colville?
I’m currently writing the 11th book in The Hidden Series following two lesser known characters, Michele & Charles. I’m really enjoying going back and seeing them move through the books from their point of view.
I have a short story series called Knights to Remember and I’m always writing the current short for the next month.
I have plans with my friend and writing partner Emma Leya for book three in our Sinful Temptation collection and of course I’m thinking about book 2, Discovering Dalton which follows on from Samuel’s book. All of these will be out in 2015.
Their mouths parted, Daniel moaning as Milo slipped his tongue inside him, teasing him with soft caresses until he plunged deeply into his mouth, fighting with Daniel’s tongue as their bodies began to grind together in that perfect dance. Both were so in tune to the other, both knowing just what to give to drive the other insane with desire.
“I need you, Danny. You can feel how much I need you.” Milo pressed the ridge of his swollen cock against Daniel’s, both groaning as their lengths rubbed against each other. “What I need, I can only get from you. You’re the only one on my mind. Even when I’m alone, you’re the one I see, who I hear with me, who I feel under me, over me, against me. It’s just you, Daniel. It has been for three years. There’s no one else.”
Daniel’s hands were in Milo’s hair, clinging onto him tightly and forcing their mouths to collide again, his hips raising up and crushing their cocks against each other. They were both breathing too fast, their bodies crying out for more when Milo lifted from Daniel’s swollen lips.
“You don’t have to lie to me.” Daniel moaned as Milo worked his hand over his cock, the sweatpants he wore tenting over his length.
“I’m not lying.”
Daniel’s eyes focused more on him, the truth finally seeping through that thick skull of his. “Milo…”
Milo fisted his hand tighter in Daniel’s hair. Seeing him like this turned him on too much. “Tell me what you want.”
Daniel paused, but his body rose up to Milo’s, begging for what it needed before he could say the words. “I need you inside me.”
