Release Date: April 1, 2015
Pages or Words: 42,000 words
Categories: Contemporary, Crime Fiction, Gay Fiction, Mystery, Romance
Author Name: Elizabeth Noble
Elizabeth Noble started telling stories before she actually knew how to write, and her family was very happy when she learned to put words on a page. Those words turned into fan fiction that turned into a genuine love of M/M romance fiction. Being able to share her works with Dreamspinner is really a dream come true. She has a real love for a good mystery complete with murder and twisty plots as well as all things sci-fi, futuristic, and supernatural and a bit of an unnatural interest in a super-volcano in Wyoming. Elizabeth has three grown children and is now happily owned by an adorable mixed breed canine princess named Rosie, and two cats, Murphy and Yeti. She lives in her native northeast Ohio, the perfect place for gardening, winter and summer sports (go Tribe!). When she’s not writing she’s working as a veterinary nurse, so don’t be surprised to see her men with a pet or three who are a very big part of their lives.
Two of Elizabeth’s books have received Honorable Mentions in the Rainbow Awards.

Through ten wonderful years Griff Diamond and Clint Bishop weathered good times and bad together. Lately they haven’t spent as much time together as they’d like, and their physical relationship is suffering. Then Clint loses his job at the steel mill. Instead of worrying, he sees it as an opportunity to lean on his steady partner, start his writing career, and rekindle the passion they’ve lost.
But a friendly relationship with another author turns to obsession, putting Clint’s life in danger. Taken against his will to the Jewel Cave system in South Dakota, Clint must rely on the skills he’s learned from Griff to survive.
Fearing the worst, Griff tracks Clint across the country. As a US Marshall, Griff’s always been the man who keeps everyone safe, but he doesn’t know how he and Clint will survive this.

How do the characters in Jewel Cave relate to those in the other Circle books?
We actually meet Griff and Clint, the main characters of Jewel Cave in A Barlow Lens. Griff is the US Marshal who contacts Wyatt about investigating a cold case murder.
During Jewel Cave we meet Mason Arquette who will become one of the main characters of book #4, Gone Away.
It looks like there is a Jewel Cave, what was your research like for this book?
I did a lot of reading about that particular cave system. There is a virtual tour feature on Jewel Cave National Monument website as well as a number of photos and general information. I used Google Earth and Maps for basic data on the route taken to South Dakota in the book and the surrounding area.
Caving requires specialized equipment. Depending on the type of cave being explored various equipment is used, so I ended up looking through a lot of forums and caving sites in general. A good friend of mine has a brother in the Coast Guard and he was able to give me really good details about much of that equipment, the limitations and how it’s used.
Are you claustrophobic?
No. I’d love to visit Jewel Cave. I’ve been in some smaller caves in Ohio and love the experience.
What talent or trick can you perform?
Um…Uh…huh…well, I can write. Some days that’s a trick in itself. I faux paint my walls and I garden. Oh, and my dog does an adorable ‘sit pretty’. Does teaching her that trick count?
Do you have another book in the works? Want to tell us about it?
I sure do!
I’ve just recently completed the first book of a new series, Akhkharu Nasaru: The Vampire Guard. It’s full of vampires, werewolves, intrigue and espionage.
I’m also working on the fourth book of Circles, Gone Away. The title comes from a fox hunting term meaning that the fox has left the cover. One of the main characters Mason Arquette is a ranger in the US National Forestry service and in the course of the story he’s able to reconnect with a lost love, and have a wilderness adventure.
With any luck both books will be released by Dreamspinner sometime in 2016. I’ll have updates on my website: www.elizabeth-noble.com
Clint nearly jumped out of his skin when someone’s strong arm snaked around his waist and pulled him back against a firm body. Warm breath blew in his ear along with the words, “You left the door unlocked again. I could be the neighborhood whack job here to bludgeon you to death after defiling you.”
“You scared the crap out of me!” Clint yelped, trying to squirm away, but it was useless. “You’re the guy on this street with all the big guns.” Behind him Griff chuckled and used one finger to move Clint’s hair away from his neck. He pressed a soft kiss to the spot. Clint glared down at the dogs. “And you two! You need watchdog lessons.”
Griff let go of Clint, turned him, and shook him by the shoulders for a second. “Lock the goddamn doors. Even if someone smashes through the storm door, you’ll at least hear them.” He raised his eyebrows and leaned away from Clint, letting him go. “For me. Please.”
“What you really don’t want is some moron busting up the storm door since you’d have to help me replace it,” Clint muttered.
Griff pointed up. “Hey, I happen to have a deep appreciation for that door. Notice I’m tactfully not mentioning how delightful you are when you work on a construction project?” Clint burst out laughing. Griff’s blue-gray eyes twinkled, and the corners crinkled in the way Clint loved when Griff smiled. “Sorry I’m late,” Griff said, leaning down to pet the dogs.

I don’t have a favorite gem
I love rubies!
My favorite is Jasper because of all the varieties there are. When polished I don’t think there are not two alike 🙂 They are unique and come in may colors. Thanks for the chance!
Haven’t read this series yet, off to check it out. My favorite is a rare gem, Alexandrite. The best stones where from Russia and change color from a blueish green to a pinkish red.
I love sapphires, the deeper the blue the better.
I have the Circles books and The Sleepless City Books…Can’t wait to read this one too. I like most gemstones but my 2 favorite are opals and tanzanite. 🙂
Emerald only because it’s my birthstone. I like your books better.
I happen to love the emerald. I am a Gemini and I love to mix Black Hills gold with emeralds when I can find them.
Thank you for being a part of my tour!
I love Opals.
Don’t have a favorite but really like rubies, emeralds and sapphires.
